Unknown Author , We are nursing the measles at our house this week. Our little Debbie Deb-bie is really covered. Wish she could have held off one more week to finish school. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Henderson who are attending school in Provo spent the weekend in Delta with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Henderson. Hen-derson. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Swalberg wera in Las Vegas a couple of days this week. They mixed a little pleasure and business together. Mr. and Mrs. Noel Twitchell were visiting their parents over the weekend, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Twitchell. Twit-chell. Mr. and Mrs. Menr White of Provo Pro-vo spent the weekend in Delta with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Van Bishop. Kay Bassett and Diane Vining spent the weekend in Delta, also visiting with Kay's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William S. Bassett. I received word this week that my niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Beck (JoAnn Ball) of Salt Lake have a new baby girl. This makes us a five generation in our family and we are really thrilled. JoAnn is a daughter of my sister Lila who lives in Gunni- CEMTMMEi Son.-. . . ... Donna Van Horn is spending the weekend in Gandy with her parents par-ents and family, Don Van Horns. Mrs. Zerma Tripp is much better now since her little illness and I think she has gone back out to their ranch in Callao. Mrs. Don Webb took a group of girls to Provo Saturday. They attended at-tended a rehersal for the All-Church All-Church Danee in Salt Lake for June Conference. Those who went with her were Jane Beckwith, Anita Mc-Call, Mc-Call, Laura Hansen, Gwen Stephenson Stephen-son and Ann Webb. A very "Happy Birthday" this week to David Cox, Levina Bunker, Bunk-er, Nancy Applegate, Peggy Lovell, Nelle Callister, Clair Stephenson, Jim Robson and Ann Marie Callister. Callis-ter. Sacrament meeting in our ward Sunday night was "Cry In the Wilderness," Wil-derness," given 'by the youth choir. It wcs a special program to honor the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood. It was very well done by the choir. Hats off to our wonderful won-derful choir director Melba Jacob-son. Jacob-son. Mrs. Lenore McCall and Elaine Robison accompanied ajid Spencer Ashby did the narrating. Owen Holt, who was injured while working on. the railroad last week, came home from the hospital hospi-tal this week. He won't be able to work for a while but we are grateful grate-ful he wasn't hurt anymore than he was. We wish him a speedy recovery. re-covery. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Leon Smith and baby were home over the weekend from Logan to visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Turner. Mr. and Mrs. Gil Sorenson and daughters Laurie Ann and Shannon who live in Granger visited over the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Sorenson. Also visiting at the Sorenson home was another son, John. He is working in Ely with the BL&M Survey. Mr. and Mrs. William D. Tomkin-son Tomkin-son and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tomkin-son Tomkin-son and daughters Arlene and Linda Lin-da of Fillmore spent Sunday visiting visit-ing at the Carl Warners. Mrs. Helen Warner prepared birthday dinner for her father who is 75 years old this week. Mr. and Mrs. James Adamson of Salt Lake visited over the weekend week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Jess Lee and also Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Poulsen of Sugarville. Mr. Adamson is a brother bro-ther to Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Poulsen. I guess thats all the news this 1 week. See you next week. EDNA CHRISTENSEN The program in Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening was in commemoration com-memoration of the Restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood. Jerold Bennett Ben-nett was the narrator and the singing sing-ing led by Jean Allred and accompanied accom-panied by Jackie Black. The program pro-gram was done by the deacons and teachers of the Aaronic Priesthood, assisted by Dorothy Croft, Evva Croft and Venice Knight. It was very good. A recent visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allred was their brother Clark Allred of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. F. M. The boys furnished the lunch. Arlan Crafts' share was a cake which his mother made and decorated 'beautifully with the inscription "To the Best Scoutmaster, Ever." To further show their appreciation to Wells she is getting a little better. She has been real sick. He just returned from a mission to Germany and we are looking forward to hearing him report his mission. Hayes and two children and William Gardner and three sons of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Gardner and family fa-mily had been down the week before be-fore to help his father irrigate his farm. John Gardner called his parents Sunday night to wish his ' mother a happy Mother's Day. He told her that they had been over to visit with the Don Killpack family. Don and John are bishops of their wards and live in the same stake. They see each other real often. Mrs. Gardner wants to say Thank You to the Sunday School who remembered her with a gift from the ward. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Little and Jody spent Monday and Tuesday in Delta on business and to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Fera Little. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Goodwin from Ely, Nevada, were in Delta Saturday Satur-day visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Newell Iverson and Nadene. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Thomoson of Eureka, Mrs. LaPreal Lewis of Mil-' ford and Frank Lewis and two children of Salt Lake visited with the Newell Iversons Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Farris and family fa-mily visited with Bishop and Mrs. Arthur Jensen and family Sunday. Dan Iverson visited in Delta over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Smith were in Salt Lake last Friday on business. Home for the weekend at the Ray Western home were Donald and Janice of Salt Lake, and a nephew ne-phew of the Westerns Edward Sap-pington Sap-pington and a friend Linda Henion Both are going to school at the Y. We want to extend our sympathy sympa-thy to Mrs. Ben Bunker and her family. It was sure a shock to hear of the death of Mr. Bunker. Mr. and Mrs. Alden Hardy stopped stop-ped to say hello to the Floyd Har-dys Har-dys Sunday. Richard Dekker is home visiting with his mother Mrs. Veva Dekker. Richard has been working in Colorado Colo-rado for the past three months. Mrs. Lyn Warnnick and Mrs. Josephine Pratt went to Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. John Lloyd last Thursday. They came home Friday. LaMont. Fred, Jessie and I were in Salt Lake Monday on business. Alisha Jackson went up with us to visit with LaVerl, Anne and Gregory. Greg-ory. Mr. and Mrs. James Hardy of Milford stopped in Delta Monday They had been in Salt Lake to see their son Douglas off on his mission. mis-sion. He is going to South Germany. Ger-many. Bertrice Erickson and Millie Dew-siup Dew-siup spent Friday in Provo. DUP meeting was held at the home of Cleo Eliason Friday afternoon after-noon with Inga Black assisting as hostess. The lesson on Pioneer Mid-wives Mid-wives was given by Arlean Bennett. Ben-nett. Sixteen members were present pre-sent to enjoy the lesson and the refreshments served by the hostesses. hos-tesses. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Stanworth and children Cindy and Scott and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jensen and son Brad spent Saturday at Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Moody and baby boy visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Moody over the weekend. They brot Brent, the young son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Moody with them.
