Show t V DELTA THIRD WARD AREA NEWS BRIEFS BEA WILLDEN I slipped up last week, just couldn't rake up any news. And thought maybe readers were tired of hearing about our family, I just decided to let people wonder. I really didn't get much news this week either, but here goes. We received word from our kids. They are having quite a time. Marilyn Mari-lyn Giles Willden went to Phoenix to visit her sister Carolyn last week and got to visit her little niece for the first time. This week they moved from the trailer court in Barstow to Lyn-wood Lyn-wood where they are living In a house. -After three months in a little trailer house I bet they feel like they're in heaven. Julia . called her mother from their new address in Bruneau, Id. Zola was pleased to hear from them and to visit the grandchildren Stephanie and Steven. We had two babies blessed in Sacrameht meeting Sunday. The young son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Atkinson was given the name of Thayne J. and blessed by his father. fa-ther. The grandparents were here for the occasion, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Roper and two daughters from . Cedar City. Also her sister and husband hus-band from Oak City, Mr. and Mrs. Howard (Afton) Dutson. Also the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Allred. He was blessed by his father and given the name of Lance Barten. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Church visited our ward Sunday. The Elders supper was real nice and a fine meal was served to a good number of ward members and town guests. They all enjoyed a nice program after supper. Mrs. Judy Brumley is visiting in Delta with grandparents and helping help-ing care for her grandmother, Mrs. Lillian Killpack, who is ill. Visiting yesterday at the Killpack home were Mrs. Mignon Stephen-sen Stephen-sen and daughter, Mrs. Var Stott of Fillmore. Also Miss Marion Petty who is living in Fillmore and employed em-ployed as a beautician there. "BELIEF SOCIETY CELEBRATES ITS 120TH BIRTHDAY" On March 17, 1842 the Relief Society So-ciety was born. It has grown and progressed until it is now a mature ma-ture organization. It brings much happiness to many people. It edu cates and gives all who attend a feeling of being well rewarded. The Third Ward will celebrate this happy occasion March 13th and extends an invitation to everyone every-one of Relief Society age. It will be in conjunction with our ward day meeting which will start at 10 a.m. We will have Easter ideas i and nnnnnnce future nlftns for our' Fashion Show on April 10th. The evening meeting will be held Thursday evening, March 15, at 7:30 p.m. We received word that Mr. and Mrs. Stanley (Beth) Tolbert have a new addition to their family, a third boy. . -VBn m, 6eU better all the time.
