We enjoyed them very much. Several girls in our ward were presented with individual a-wards. a-wards. They were Gloria Allred, Diane Jensen, Rawlene Hales, Nancy Nan-cy Black, Delene Black, Frances Black, Gaylyn Cropper, Marilyn Mace, Kathleen Knight, Susan Row ley, and Bonnie Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Don Croft spent Wednesday shopping in Salt Lake. Edna Christensen and daughter, Carolyn spent Tuesday in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Warner and father Albert Warner, went up north Wednesday. Mr. Warner stayed stay-ed in Orem with Mr. and Mrs. Claude Warner while Cecil and Fern visited in Ogden with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Warner and family and in Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Jay Warner and family. They returned re-turned home Monday. Gordon Dewsnup has come back to Deseret to stay. He will take care of the cattle and family interests inter-ests for himself nd brothers Stanley Stan-ley and Richard. How many of you saw Carol Cropper on TV Thursday? Carol won the women's barrel racing in Utah this year and she and the third place winner were interviewed interview-ed by Paul James on channel four. Mr. and Mrs. I. C. Davis of Pan-guitch Pan-guitch and friend Tom Imley of West Jordon spent the weekend at the- home of Mr. and Mrs. Matt LovelL Kent Johnson, Victor Brad-field, Brad-field, Rex Finlinson and Wendell Nielson wish to thank our leaders, Dean and Mabel Harder, Marven Ogden, Louise, Lovell, Mrs. LaVelJ Turner and all the other workers on the 4-H committee whose names I don't remember, and also our parents for the help they have given gi-ven us this year. We attended the livestock show and most of us exhibited. ex-hibited. We also attended 4-H Camp, County Fair, some of us the State Fair, and achievement night in Delta where many of us received awards and prize money. THANKS. Visitors at the Grant Overson home over the weekend were Mrs. Gladys Montoya, Vickl and Bobbie of Ogden; Jay Overson of Cedar City and Mrs. Joy Bennett and Jo-lyn Jo-lyn of Delta. They were here to see Ida who has been ill and attend the funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Overson which were held Saturday. The members of the Overson family fa-mily and children who attended Lllace Christensen is spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dutson. Lilace lives in Mayfield and was visiting her sister, Mrs. Lawrence Bradfield, in Lynndyl but Rama Bradfield was married in Salt Lake Saturday night and the Brad-fields Brad-fields attended the wedding and left Lilace here. Mrs. Joy Nielson is still in Salt Lake City for observation. Bevan and the children returned Sunday and will go to get their mother when she Is able to come home. I failed to add last week the Primary Halloween Carnival. It was a gay affair, with hot supper, fish pond, and many more attractions, Ekins. Talks were given by Harold Jensen and Walter Ekins; a piano solo by Karen Sue Jenson. A large crowd attended. Walter Ekins also attended Priesthood meeting and Sunday School in the morning. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Perkins made a trip to Nevada during the week. The Educational Week dinner and Back to School Night combined was well attended and we wish to thank all the patrons that helped make it a success. OASIS RUBY SKEEM Oasis Bazaar was held Nov. 10 and it turned out very well. A lovely love-ly chicken dinner and the bake sale and bazaar articles sold just fine. There was a good turn-out both with the proceeds all turned into j from town and out of town people. the Ward Budget. They have just returned from San Francisco and a visit with daughter K!e:s and family. Les has been on vacation for two weeks. Captain and Mrs. Neil Rawlin-son Rawlin-son left Friday, after a two week slay at the Welby Finlinson home. They planned to spend two days with Mr. and Mrs. Frank. Rawlinson and family in Orem and then go to their new destination in New Mexico. Mex-ico. Mr. DelRoy Jones of Provo and Mr. Carlise Waters from Orem visited vis-ited the Walker Finlinson family and hunted pheasants Saturday. Two-fold was the Monday night P-TA meeting and delicious tur-j key supper served by the Hot Lunch workers of the school. It was Nat'n Education Week and after dinner parents of Lynndyl and Leamington went to the school house, where the teachers had prepared pre-pared very interesting programs in physical education, science, social studies, etc. Perhaps the largest crowd ever to attend a back-to-school night attended and enjoyed the entire evening. Mr. Howard Nielson, President and Mrs. Margaret Marg-aret McCann, Secretary of the P-TA, P-TA, are to be thanked for this successful suc-cessful evening. Mrs. Ida Overson, Vice President, was unable to at- t atmosphere during the meal. Mrs. Glen Haider came down from Sunset, Friday, to spend some time with Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Larsen at Sutherland before they go to Phoenix for the winter. She visited friends and other members of her family in Delta. Sunday, she spent the day at the Walker Finlinson Fin-linson home and the A. M. Harder residence. Edith Is assistant supervisor super-visor at Hill Field in the department depart-ment where she works. They are happy In Sunset and Glen is doing fine in his new Barber Shop in Ogden.
