Mr. and Mrs. Gary Robinson and two sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hepworth, spent Thanksgiving with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Rose. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Porter and family visited with all their relatives rela-tives and friends, over the weekend. week-end. Nancy Skidmore and girl friend, of Salt Lake City, visited the Evan Skidmores. Mr. and Mrs. Clemont Eennett had Joy's father, Lyman Overson, and nephew, Dean Macleprang, to spend Thanksgiving with them. Mrs. Delilah Ogden and Larraine spent Thanksgiving in Heber City with Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Maxfield and family. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Dalton and son, of Circleville, came for Thanksgiving Thanks-giving with their family, the Cutler Cut-ler Henries, and stayed for the Farewell Testimonial of their brothers, bro-thers, Richard and David, Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Walker had most of their family home for dinner din-ner on Thanksgiving Day. Sherrie Steele, who is attending school in Los Angeles, spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Steele. Mr. and Mrs. Fernard Elake came to be with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Rawlinson. Mr. Paul Sampson of Grand Junction, Junc-tion, Colo., now at the BYU, visited the Ivo Ogdens. Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Wright and Janeal Owens, of Logan, visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Owens. After Thanksgiving dinner, , Mr. and Mrs. Owens took Janeal to Salt Lake to join the other 4-H boys and girls to go to the 4-H convention in Chicago. Those home f rom College, to spend the Thanksgiving holiday, were: from the U. of U., Linda Walker; from BYU, Jill Tippetts, Gayle Johnson, Venna Walker, Gen-iel Gen-iel Johnson, Lyman Henrie, Merrill Mer-rill Johnson and Diane Turner; from CSU, Kenneth Mortensen and Le'Ray Jackson; from USU, Karen Roberts, Janeal Owens, Kathy Webb and Lon Jackson. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Church from Provo, visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Johnson. Also, at the Johnson's for Thanksgiving were Margene Williams of BYU, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Williams Wil-liams and Jerry Bailey of Los Ang- eles. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Bunker had their children, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Beagley and children, of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Duaine Kim'ber and boys, of Price, home for the weekend. week-end. Sunday, they met at the Petersen Pet-ersen home in Hinckley for a reunion. re-union. Out of 83 in their famiiy, 55 were present. s Mr. Hal Robison, who is on a mission in California, is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Robison went to get him and bring him to Salt Lake City to the hospital. Mrs. Ivo Ogden had a call from Las Vegas that her brother, Cecil Sampson, had been in an accident and had three fingers of his right hand taken off. Spending Thanksgiving with the Rulon Andersons were Mr. tnd Mrs. Bert Rigby and ron, Douglas, Salt Lake, and Mr. Norwood Hyer and son, Warren, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hyer, all of Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Scymore of Brigham, also, called on Thanksgiving. MRS. MAHY JOHNSON Mrs. Amy Erickson, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brad-field, Brad-field, of Scipio, visited in Delta Saturday with their mother, Mrs. Adelia Stephenson, and husband, A. E. Stephenson. Mrs. Stephenson is recovering well from a fall in September Sep-tember that broke her right arm a-bove a-bove the elbow. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Simpson and family left Wednesday, by train, for Los Angeles, then on to Inglewood, where they spent the remainder of the week visiting Bill's two sisters, Bess and Carolyn and families. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Rodman spent some time with their children child-ren in Riveria, Calif. They left for that city Wednesday. Wayne Overson drove home from New Jersey, where he was released from the army, after a three year tour of duty. He spent some time in Michigan with his brother, Kirt, and family and on to Holbrook for a visit with his sister, Ellen and husband. He arrived here Wednesday. Wednes-day. Sunday he drove to Stockton for a stay with the Curtis Jacobs family. Master Glenn Nielson was home from school in Ogden over the long weekend, with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nielson and three sisters. sis-ters. Monday he was taken back to school. Mr. and Mrs. John Talbot spent the day at their daughter's, Mabel Welton, in Delta, Thursday, having turkey and all the trimmings! Mrs. Irene Best, Ellen and Bud joined Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lovell at Leamington for Thanksgiving. Miss Gladys Banks drove down from Salt Lake, Wednesday evening. even-ing. J. A. Banks came over from Manti and had holiday feasting with Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Abeg-glen Abeg-glen and family. Mrs. Banks went to Mesa, Ariz, with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Whatcott and family of Fillmore, Fill-more, where they spent the holiday holi-day and weekend with Garth and John Whatcott and families. Friday Fri-day p.m., Miss Banks, her father fath-er and the Abeggiens drove to Salt Lake. Rex and his father took in the Utah-UCLA football game Saturday Sat-urday afternoon. Miss Enla Wilkins spent the long weekend in Richfield, returning to her home Sunday. Don Greathouse vas home from Salt Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greathouse and Gregg. Mrs. Hettie Johnson and Mrs. Hazel Williams spent the day, Friday, Fri-day, here with Mrs. Mary Johnson. Mrs. Williams and son, Willie, and Jerry Bailey, drove up from Los Angeles for the holiday weekend. Miss MarJean Williams, Y student, was down to Sutherland, where they all stayed at the Peter Johnson John-son home. At the home of Bishop and Mrs. Reed Nielson were Mr. and Mrs. Kent Nielson and family and Dee, from Salt Lake, for the holiday dinner; and, Saturday, Elder Blaine Nielson arrived from the Calif, mission. mis-sion. He was released Wednesday from his labors, in Scottsdale, Ariz., but had to report to the mission headquarters in Westwood, Calif., before leaving to come home. A telephone call from Ivy J. Nielson Niel-son to his parents, Thursday evening, even-ing, told of him purchasing a lucky ticket at a football game that day. He won a new Ford Falcon, (lucky fellow). Down from Salt Lake at the Irving Nielson home were Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Sagers and Leon, who brought his girl friend with him. They enjoyed the big dinner and returned to the city later in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. John Newinski and Debbie, were at the Curt Johnson home for the big day. They returned return-ed to Salt Lake Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Nielson spent Saturday in Provo, visiting Miss Susan Nielson and at Carl Larsen's. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Overson drove to Murray Saturday, where Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Schwabb and children, of Ely, Nev., Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Christensen and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Overson, of Boun tiful were gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Overson. There they all had their fill of holiday hol-iday feasting. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Stephenson, Stephen and Mrs. Nola Greathouse and Gregg, drove to Blanding Saturday, Sat-urday, and took little Sylvia back to her parents. She is the little Indian In-dian child that has been in the Stephenson home for the past year. On their return, Sunday, they encountered en-countered a severe snow storm that made traveling very difficult and hazardous. Mr. and Mrs. Julian Rassmussen and family drove down from Salt Lake, Thursday. Here Mrs. Jane Ashby joined them and they went on and had dinner at the Carl Ash-by's Ash-by's in Delta. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Maiben Ashby drove up from St. George to bring Karen back, after having spent the week at home. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Nielson and family were home for several days. Thev had the holiday dinner with the Dick Morrisons at Delta. All the Clead Nielson family here were dinner guests at the Nielson home. Elder Gordon Shipley was here and reported his mission in church Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Shipley and family brought him down, coming for Sunday School and visiting thru the day with relatives rel-atives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Finlinson and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Shipley, from Oak City, attended at-tended the meeting, also. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielson and family went to Kearns and had their Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Warren Overson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Benson, San dra and Mr. and Mrs. Don Benson and little daughter, drove to Los Angeles, where they visited the Eugene Eu-gene Bensons and their newest son, born Nov. 8. This makes two sons for Eugene and wife. They returned return-ed home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Sheriff enjoyed dinner and the day, Thursday, with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Christiansen Christian-sen and family at Nephi. Mrs. Christiansen is a daughter of Mrs. Sheriff. eammoton . . . Mr. and Mrs. Ray Johnson and ' family, visited in Kamas, over the holiday, returning home Saturday. ' Nila Jean came home with them to ! spend Sunday here. I Mr. and Mrs. John M. Nielson and family, drove to Price to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with John's j sister, Mary. Mr. and Mrs. Sid Searle and family, fam-ily, of Orem, enjoyed Thanksgiving ; dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Wells Nielson. All of the family of Mr. Joseph Finlinson spent the long holiday weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Finlinson, Fin-linson, except Burns, who lives in Bakersfield, Calif., and called to wish his father a happy day. Present Pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Foy and children, Mr. and Mrs. Weagle and son, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Finlinson Finlin-son and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Finlinson. Mrs. Ray Trovato and children, visited over the weekend with parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Bevan Nielson and girls, and Max Nielson, joined them for turkey dinner. Bishop and Mrs. Richard Nielson and girls, left Wednesday for Idaho to celebrate Thanksgiving with Norma's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Nielson and family, drove to Salt Lake, Thursday, Thurs-day, and spent a couple of days with Violate Nielson. Mrs. Jewel Prochko, of Salmon, Idaho, visited Saturday and Sunday, Sun-day, with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nielson and her son, Steven, who is staying with the Nielsons and attending school in Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Finlinson, Mr. and Mrs. Arlynn Finlinson, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Welby Finlinson. Mrs. Clara Johnson and family drove to Sandy, where they joined the rest of the family at dinner, with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Snyder, Thursday. Miss Loma Lovell was at home with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Welby Lovell, over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Will Lovell visited with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Benja-min Lovell, and with Mr. and Mrs. Bud McCann, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Grygla and boys, spent Sunday with mother, Clara Johnson and children. Mrs. Hattie Anderson visited in Provo, Saturday, with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Anderson. Word was received of the death of Mrs. Josephine Johnson in a Provo Pro-vo hospital, Saturday. Mrs. Johnson John-son was almost a lifetime resident of Leamington. In recent years she has lived with a son, Oscar and family, at Springville, Utah. The program Sunday night was given by the ward teachers' district dist-rict of Gordon Nielson and Lee j Grygla. Talks were given by Wanda Wan-da Nielson, Lee Grygla and Ger-: Ger-: old Lovell. Music was furnished by Wilma Lovell, and Vicky Nielson.
