The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E, C. Sherwood (Mrs. Norma Nor-ma Hannifin) and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mac Brough all of Nephi. A reception honoring the newly married couple was given by the bride's parents on Saturday evening even-ing at the Nephi Fourth Ward Hall. The bride was lovely in an original origin-al gown of pure silk organza and chantilly lace with a full skirt falling fall-ing into a semi-chaple train. The back had a long flowing panel caught into the hem. The lace fitted bodice had a scalloped scal-loped Sabrina neckline with long sleeves forming a lily-point at the wrist. The matching cap of iridescent sequins and pearls held a silk illusion il-lusion fingertip veil. Streamers of white satin ribbon trimmed with tiny red hearts cascaded from the bouquet. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. C. M. Shields (Cherrie) as matron of honor, who wore a sheath gown of pink lace over taffeta. taf-feta. Other attendants were Elaine Cole and Ethelyn Sorensen of Delta and Margaret Gadd and Dee Ann Wright of Nephi. The matron of honor and bridesmaids all carried heart-shaped nosegays of red carnations car-nations and white hyacinths. Phyllis Munster, State Vice President, Mabel Welton, Noble Grand, Louise Bogh, Secretary Secre-tary and lone Hollingshead, Warden, Ward-en, of Betah No. 47. Phyllis Munster was installed as President of the State. As State President, Mrs, Munster will preside pre-side over 22 lodges, lane Hollingshead Hollings-head was Installed as the State Inside Guardian. Two members of the Delta I.O.O.F. were In attendance at the joint installation in Ogden, Les Welton, Noble Grand and Wilford Munster, Secretary. The lovely bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dana Pratt Hinckley Hinck-ley and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom McCormick of Delta. A reception in their honor was held Saturday, March 5 at the Hinckley Ward Relief Society Room. Receiving with the newly-weds were Mr. and Mrs. Pratt, Mr. and Mra, McCormick, Dale McCormick, Kathy Carroll, Viola Songer, Kathy McCormick and Marcla Pratt. "Fashions U.S.A." To lie Presented To l-II Members It will be the red, white and blue on parade this week, when "Fashions "Fas-hions U.S.A.," a collection of brand new Simplicity Pattern fashions, is presented to 4-H Club members. This spring round-up of all the new styles of the season will be presented pre-sented by the pattern company in Millard County on March 14th, at 3:30 p.m. at the Delta High School Auditorium. The 4-H Club girls in the audience audi-ence will get lots of sewing Ideas for their spring wardrobes, for there are ideas aplenty, gathered from all parts of the U.S.A., In this sparkling collection. Red, white and blue dominate the color scheme, for these colors are big favorites with most girls. Commentator for "Fashions U.S.A." will be Loa Black. The models mo-dels wil 'be from the Elementary, Junior High and High School. The committee in charge of the show are Rae Jensen, Clare Stephenson, Bertha Owens and Mrs. Alma Peterson. Peter-son. The background music will be played by Judy Bishop. a January wedding ceremony at the Pontiac LDS Stake Center. A wedding luncheon honoring the young couple was held at Ted's Cafe in Pontiac following the ceremony. cere-mony. The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Detroit. They are now making their home at 18 Newberry New-berry St., Apt. 3. Pontiac and Mr. Schlappi is employed by General Motors Corporation. By d'Alessk) h i -A . ill i ' M 1 mm Jim McCormick The bride's brunette Jovliness was enhanced by her ballerina-length ballerina-length gown of white embroidered nylon organdy. The gown featured a buoffant skirt with a wide panel of plain white nylon from the waist to the hemline and a fitted bodice with short sleeves and a scalloped neckline. The bride completed er attire with sheer elbow-length mitts and a tiara of rhinestones. Her bouquet was of white carnations carna-tions and pink tea roses with cascading cas-cading pink satin streamers. Her attendants were Kathy Carroll Car-roll gowned in green and Viola Songer gowned in ipink. Junior bridesmaids, Kathy McCormick and Marcia Pratt, were dressed in green. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Dale McCormick as best man. Mrs. Pratt, mother of the bride, wore a corsage of white carnations and Mrs. McCormick wore a corsage cor-sage of pink carnations. Throughout the hall were bouquets bou-quets of fresh flowers. Center of attraction at-traction was the beautifully decorated decor-ated table of pink and white which held a four-tiered wedding cake with small decorative bells on top. On either side of the cake were candleabras with long tapered candles. During the reception, organ or-gan medleys were played by Ruth Talbot, Roma Ekins and Ray Bishop. Bish-op. Connie Cropper and Margaret Ekins were in charge of the guest book. Martha Mase, aunt to the bride, and Eva Bradfield, aunt to the groom were in charge of the gift room. They were assisted by Joan Bradfield, Rosalie Hilton and Se-brina Se-brina Ekins. Serving were Thora Petersen, A-dell A-dell Petersen, Esther Petersen, Emily Em-ily Justesen and Ruby Skeem. They were assisted by Karen Justesen, Evelyn Bradfield, Marilyn Mase, Deone Talbot and Lynette Riding. The young couple are making a home at 351 W. Main, Delta. They are both seniors at Delta High School. KATHRYN HUMPHRIES HOSTS BRIDGETTES Friday, March 4, the Bridgettes met at the home of Kathryn Humphries for their club meeting. Lovely refreshments were served by the hostess to the following members: Jesse Gillette, Beulah Bassett, Barbara Ashby, Charlotte Morrison, Pat Dalton, Merilyn Bishop, Bis-hop, Delores Warnick and Beth Brown. Guests present were Sally Abbott, Gloria Walker, Jean Harris and Marge Moody. Score awards went to Charlotte Morrison, high; Sally Abbott, second; sec-ond; Gloria Walker, low. Dinner was served at Delta Cafe after which members went to the home of Mary Wright for the program. pro-gram. Lenore Gardner was program director for the night, with Mrs. Adrian Hansen as discussion leader. Mrs. Hansen had an interesting discussion on "Aging Process" with sub-topics, Changes, Gains and Losses.
