His right leg Is broken in two places and his pelvis bone Is broken. He is in the Payson hospital and was last reported recovering satisfactorily. Mr. Albeit Warner, a brother-in- law of Mrs. Leonard Dutson, stop ped in for a visit en route, from Deseret, where he was visiting with a son, Cecil Warner, to Salt Lake City. Last weekend Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Walsh and children visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson. This weekend Mr. and Mrs. John Holmauist and son Lorln, Mrl and Mrs. Dean Dutson and sons, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson. Monday morning Mr. Leonard Dutson was confined to the hospital hos-pital In Nephl. He has been in bed for the past 3 weeks at home with heart trouble. Mr. Wallace Neilson, LeGrand, and the two girls, Annette and Lorraine, are moving this week to Kanosh.Thev are leasing a farm there and plan to make it their home. The MIA Is giving the iam-Ilv iam-Ilv a farewell party on Tuesday, March 12, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Everyone Is Invited. The town will present a token of remembrance and the Veterans are furnishing the refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Nielson, Elenore Nielson and their children, spent Thursday in Provo shopping and visiting. The Relief Society Sunday night services last week were conducted by President Wanda Nielson. The theme of the program was "A Port rait of a Dream", concerning the new Relief Society home In Salt Lake City. Oak City Ward presented their 3-aet play last Thursday evening to a good crowd from Oasis and Deseret, who enjoyed the performance perform-ance very much. Mrs. Biah SJostroni returned home Wednesday after spending the past three weeks In Gait, Ca!., with her daughter Virgie, who is recuperating from an operation. Biah reports that she is feeling pretty good now. Norman SJostrom returned home Saturday from Colton, Calif., where he has been the past couple A months with the bees. Mr. and Mrs. Don Day made a trip to Salt Lake Saturday and returned 'homo Sunday evening. The program Sunday night was given by the Relief Society. It was very enjoyable. Pres. Celia Chriv tensen conducted the meeting. Er- ma Styler was the reader. Hilda Glllen took the part of Pres. Belle S. Spafford. The Singing Mothers furnished the singing, Ruby Skeem directing and Roma Ekins accom panist. A special trio was sung byj Glenda Roundy, Beth Day and was Glen Harder, Pres. Stafford, was portrayed by Louise Nielson. Claudine Nielson gave a talk on France. Prayers were by Louise Lovell and Maude Johnson. Next Sunday evening, services will be under direction of a High Councilman. The town board recently installed install-ed as town Marshall, Stanley Brad-field. Brad-field. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Dutson and son Kayle, drove down from Logan Friday to spend the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dutson. The group went - to Fillmore Saturday evening to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Dutson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Hanson and children drove to Sciplo, Sunday afternoon, to visit with Mrs, Rex Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Sheriff of Orem, stayed the weekend with Mr. and Mrs, Less Roper. Primary Preparation meeting was held Wednesday evening at the church house. Myrtle Nielson and Clara Johnson gave the scripture scrip-ture reading. Preparation for Primary Pri-mary conference was discussed. Pres. Louise Lovell conducted. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bradfield took Mrs. Robinson home to Fillmore Fill-more Sunday. Mrs. Robinson has been staying with the Bradfields for the past two weeks. Rulon Dutson, Kenneth Nielson. John M. Nielson, Grant Nielson and Grant Overson, drove to Fillmore Monday morning, to meet with the-PMA the-PMA on a proposed Stock Watering Water-ing Project. Dinner guests at Mr. and Mrs. Randall Bradfield's last Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kay of Goshen, Mrs. Jenny Pay, Nadlne and James Pay of Nephl. Mr. Dale Tolbert went through Leamington on his machine, the American Crane, Sunday, on his way to Oregon to clear away flood debris. Master Karl Nielson 5-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Nielson had a Mother Goose birthday party on February 28. A group of his littlp friends were invited for hot dogs, chocolate milk, cake and Ice cream. Grandma Skiamore rrom Sutherland also attended. m Mvrtle Colethorp and Mrs. Chas. Nelson of Salt Lake visited with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Niel son. Master Hugh Colethorpe came along to attend Lena Gay's oinn-day oinn-day March 1, along with other cousins from Lynndyl and Learning ton. At tho Clara Johnson home bun- day were Mr. and Mrs. Von Clem-metts Clem-metts and children from Eureka, and Robert Grygla from Sandy. On Wednesday night March 13, Patrolman Clements will be at our First Aid Adult Education class to demonstrate life saving. Anyone interested is invited to attend and take instructions on this phase or First Aid. Mr. and Mrs. Curt Cowan from Fairfield, Montana, visited with her sister.Norma Poulsen, and her family for a week. They lived here i few years before moving to Montana. Mon-tana. Curt drove the school bus. Mr. and Mrs. John Mathis and fam'.l.,, from Ogden, visited with her mother and Rex over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. I.eAuer Shields and small daughter, Julia Rae, moved in from Burbank. Shirlee will visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Jenson, while LeAuer is up north. Mr. an.l Mrs. Leo Davis, Henri- S'urW Skeem, they were accompanied accom-panied by Ila Stanwoith. Clark and LaVeda Bishop represented the Stake Board. , , Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Stanwortn were pleasantly surprised Sunday when Ethel's mother, Mrs. Hattle Funk, and her brothers and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Wassom and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Morrison from Logan, came to spend the day. They brought pot luck dinner with them. Mrs. Earl Stanworth entertained in honor of her daughter Gwen's eleventh birthday. 20 guests enjoyed en-joyed the party. Dale Willoughby went to Cedar City Sunday where he will attend school at the Standard Oil Cocpany for the next 5 days. Paul Ludwig went to the Manti L.D.S. Temple with the Seminary students Saturday. Last Thursday the "Wild Horse Chasers" made a drive out on the desert and met with fairly good luck. They brought in 5 mustangs. Those who participated were Earl, Duane, David and Max Stanworth, Ralph and Arlo Skeern and Dale Willoughby, and Leo Burriston and his airplane. They had a wonderful wonder-ful time, they left early,7 and ! got home late. Russell and Jennie Styler had their new daughter out to Fast meeting and gave her the name of Erma Kay. ' Karl and June- Stanworth had their little son named Thomas Karl. Brent and Brenda Skeem, son and daughter of Ralph and Shirley Skeem were baptized Sunday morning and confirmed members of the church. Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Bishop and family from Cedar City visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Bishop over Saturday night and returned home Sunday afternoon. Miss Glenda Memmott ' from Snpnrville. visited with Mr. And Mrs. Berdell Memmott and attended attend-ed Sunday School and Fast meet ing Sunday. , Mr. and Mrs. Robert Robinson visited in Salt Lake from Tuesday until Friday with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Ferri, and other relatives. etta Barben and Marie spent the weekend In Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. Russell McL..c, r. and Mrs. F. Sister Hazel Cahoon was our Stake visitor, also her husband Clayson Cahoon visited visit-ed with us. A large crowd was in attendance. The new Scouts received their badges from their Scout master Virgil Losee. They were Paul Dean Terry, Dean Losee, Allen Jensen and Robert Hinckley.
