Sarah McClellan, 285 2nd South and Center St., Delta. 11129 Bishop and Mrs. Golden Allred and daughter. Arvilla, of Provo, visited last Monday with the Doug las Allreds. The two Mr. Allreds are brothers. George Talbot was taken to the Delta hospital last week when he became ill after his grandson K. Lynn Bennett was hurt in a hunt ing accident. Mr. Talbot's condition became worse and he was taken to Salt Lake City Saturday by ambulance. His condition was crl tical and his famllly called to his bedside Sunday, but later he was so much improved the children left for home. Shortly afterward Mr. Talbot's condition got worse. The State Road Patrol was called and they tried to locate the Talbots to have them return to Salt Lake, but were unable to locate them until they reached home. The family went immediately back to Salt Lake. Mr. Talbot passed away at 11 o'clock Monday. Sacrament Meeting The program Sunday night was given by Deseret Stake Seminary. Hinckley Ward choir sang, "Pra yer of Thanksgiving", and "In Hu mility. Our Savior." Speakers were Russell Black, who spoke on "Geography of Palestine ; Garry Callister, "Jesus' Birth", De Von Memmott, "Signs of the Sav- ior's Birth", "Temptations of Jesus", by Brice Knight, and "Jesus Healings Heal-ings and Teachings in Palestine", by Larry Bake. Mr. Stephenson, Seminary tea cher, spoke on the founding of the colony at Plymouth, and on giving thanks. The choir sang "Bless This House", as a special number and Sandra Gardner played a piano solo, "The Lord's Prayer." Out of town visitors at meeting were Mr. and Mrs. Dee Black, Mr. and Mrs. Newel Knight, of Deseret, and Mr. and Mrs Eugene Memmott LOST: 3 Holstein calves, 2 heifers and 1 bull, weigh about 300 lbs. Delta. 8;i6TF Elder Keith Mortensen brought the program for sacrament meeting Sunday night. He was assisted by Bro. Eldro Jeffery. Elder Mortensen gave us some of his missionary experiences ex-periences while in Denmark. His wife, lone, gave a good talk on "Little Things that Started Big Things", and Bro. Jeffery gave a real encouraging sermon. Ray and Ethel Western brought their two daughters, Merna and Janice, who rendered a beautiful musical number, num-ber, "The Holy City", Merna singing sing-ing and Janice as accompanist Ray gave a shert talk too. Then after church Keith showed slides he took in Denmark and also some rare porcelain and other articles he had brought home with him. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served, (a real treat). Marilee Young, oldest daughter of Eugene and Nayon Young, had a hemorrage a week after her tonsils ton-sils were removed and had to go back to the doctor, but is doing better now. Little Kathrlne Bliss, daughter of Ferron and Julia Bliss is better after a bout with an infection. Karl and Eleanor Murray and daughters, Karen and Joan, are visiting daughter Marilyn, and husband, and their little daughter, Tonl, In Los Angeles. Mr. Henery Hoff is at the Clifferd Petersen home for a visit He has been employed in Los Angeles. Mrs. Harrison and family from Salt Lake were visitors at the Lloyd Tolbert home Sunday. Emily and Alva Young returned home Sunday after a stay at their Tooele County ranch. Clark and Reva Bliss and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Robinson drove to Fillmore Fill-more Thursday, then back to Nephi to make a day of it The ladies spent a good deal of time quilting a quilt for the bazaar this week. We are preparing a bazaar for early in December, every one Is asked to help. i Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Allred re- ceived word they have a new grand daughter, born Friday. Nov. 16, to their son Gordon and wife Kay. They live in Los Angeles, Calif. Cleone Talbot and Lester Hep-worth Hep-worth of Provo, spent two days in Hincklev with their parents, the Loren Talbots and the Orlando Hepworths. .... Coalesce Club Hold Party The Coalesce Club entertained their husbands at a dinner party and cards on Saturday. Hostesses were Beth Brown and Dorothy Spencer. Present were Mr. and Mrs. June Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Taylor, Tay-lor, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Hurst, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Duane GalU, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bishop, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Spencer Spen-cer and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Blake. The ward show this week will be held Thursday and Friday and will be "VVitch Doctor", with Robert Mitchem and Susan Hayword. Louise Stevens and son Vincent of Kimberly, Nev., and Jeff and Doug Carter, from Ely, Nev., spent Tuesday with the Carter family. Vartn for Airman On Wat to Japan Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Tolbert were hosts at a family party for their son, AllC Stanley Tolbert, and wife, Beth, on Thursday evening eve-ning of last week. Stanley leaves Delta Nov. 24 for San Francisco, and from there to Japan, with the Air Force. Beth and their young son Kim will remain re-main in Delta during his stay overseas.
