They brough Mrs. Styler home with them, she has been staying over there with the Andersons to help care for the new baby and help Ellen until she got a bit stronger. Bishop and Mrs. Ralph Skeem went to Salt Lake Sunday to visit their mother Mrs. Betsy Skeem, who is a patient at the St. Mark's hospital. They report that she is improving and they expect she'll be home in another week. Celia Christensen, Evelyn Haw-ley Haw-ley and Inga Peterson attended the funeral services for Mrs. Nora Stow in Fillmore last Saturday. The infant son of Earl and Irene Stanworth was out to church Sunday Sun-day and his dad gave him a name, Jody Lynn. It was nice to make the acquaintance of the sweet little blue-eyed fellow. Last week Earl Stanworth was riding a horse and it fell with him, consequence a broken hand for Earl. We'll have to put you in a glass case, Earl, you have too many broken bones. Lee Petrovich visited at the home of his uncle and aunt Clark and LaVeda Bishop Monday. He was returning to his home in Los Angeles, after visiting with relatives rela-tives in Sale Lake City the past en days. Williams' Will-iams' home was their daughter Willa Marguard from Paradise, Montana. Grace Bennett and her son from Tooele were also here. Mr. Bill Nielson is in the Veterans' Vet-erans' Hospital in Salt Lake City after an emergency appendectomy. He was rushed in last Wednesday night. He is recovering satisfactorily. satisfact-orily. Mrs. Ranae Hannah and her two children left Thursday to spend a couple of days in Salt Lake City visiting friends. The girls there and in neighboring towns planned a reunion in the park, to make it possible for Ranae to visit with all of them. She boarded the train early Saturday morning for Dalton, Ga. Mrs. Oscar Warner of Delta spent Monday to Friday with Mrs. Essie Anderson. TO TOUR EUROPE Saturday night a party was given for Arlyn Finlinson to give him a good send off on his European Euro-pean tour. There were games, program pro-gram and refreshments. Coach Robinson from BYU attended. Arlyn Ar-lyn Finlinson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Welby Finlinson. He is one of the group from BYU's outstanding out-standing athletes to tour Europe and compete in a schedule of races there. The group leaves by United Air Lines on the 6th of July. After the Saturday evening storm this Sunday is nice and cool, but we sure have had some scorchers. A great deal of damage to crops was done by hail Saturday we hear. Gladys Tolbert and girls, Dorothy and Wanda Lee returned home Tuesday after a week in Provo. Her mother, Mrs. Sara Taylor and sister, Lois -Mr. and Mrs. Dick Turpin- and family, and Mrs. Eleanor Elea-nor Hansen and family from Auburn, Au-burn, Cal., returned home with her. They all spent an enjoyable couple of days all together, here at Abraham. Before Mrs. Hansen returned home. The children kept the shetlands on the go and had lots of fun. Sherrill Tolbert has gone to Salt Lake City seeking work for the summer vacation. We'll surely miss him if he stays up there. Mr. and Mrs. Duke Weaver stopped stop-ped on their way to Brigham City, from Long Beach, Cal., to visit the Orvill Deem family Then they took the Deems to have a visit with their folks up there, returning return-ing home Monday to finish the haying. Duke is Delia's brother. We are so sorry about Dee Or-tons Or-tons home burning. From experience exper-ience we know a fire is bad business. bus-iness. Dee lived out here once and we claim all our old neighbors. Clark and Reva Bliss had another enjoyable day fishing on Fremont Creek Wednesday and back Thursday. Thurs-day. They ran into some more Abraham folks, who were there also fishing. The Karl Murray family. fam-ily. Miss Evah Reid has been here visiting her parents, the Albert Reids. Evah lives in California. Talking about fishing, Becky and Benny Schena had their turn down to Fish Lake last week. Kahy and Florence are spending Saturdv and Sunday with the:r grandparents, the John Fullmers. Water is back in the canals for 10 days of irrigating, then it is Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Morris and daughter, Nola, of Crescent City, California, spent most of last week with his brother, Harold R. Morris Mor-ris and family. This is Orvil's first trip back to Hinckley in 18 years. On Wednesday evening a family fam-ily reunion and party was held at the home of Harold and Belva. Their sister Ida, Mrs. William Bunker, Bun-ker, of Sutherland and a brotht-r, La Von Morris, his wife, Grace, and two children of Pioche, Nev. Twenty five members of the family fam-ily were present. Reed and Joan Stewart and children spent a week in California They visited Joan's parents in San Bernardino and Reed's sister, Jean at Long Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Cleo R. Damron, son Alan, and twin daughters, Jackie and Janice, of South San Francisco, are visiting at the home of their brother, Carl Damron. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Allred and Marilyn are on a several weeks trip to Canada to visit Mrs. Allred's parents. Eric Stewart of Las Vegas, Nev., spent the week end with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Stewart. Willard and Bessie Hardy spent several days in the parks in southern south-ern Utah and visiting relatives in Dixie. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brady and three daughters of Sunnyville, Ut., spent Thursday with Mrs. Brady's sister, Roberta, Mrs. Rex Carter, on heir way to California. Mr. and Mrs. Art Thompson and faniilyof Ely, Nev., visited over the we'ek end with the Douglas Spencers. Harriet Spendlove and two small children are visiting at Corinne, with her mother, Mr. Merrill, who has been ill. Arthur Spendlove and two child ren of Ogden spent the week end with his mother, Mrs. Emma Spendlove. Rex Sly of Kimberley, Nevada, is spending two weeks with Sid ney Carter. Randle Swensen went to Salt Lake Saturday to move Neil and Carma Swensen back to Hinckley. They will live in one of the Morris Mor-ris apartments. Work proceeds on Hiways 50-6 The new wide high way between Delta and Hinckley is progressing rapidly. The canal is being filled in and the road made wider by half. This will really be an improvement im-provement and remove hazards that have caused a good many accidents in the past. Edsel Crafts is home on leave from the Air Corps. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Craft. They have another son, Millard, in the Air Corps. Bud Carter came in from Wend-over Wend-over and Jeff Carter from Idaho, to spend the week end at home. Bud took Cathie Lynn Ireland back to McGill, after spending the past week with her grandmother. Me. ROOK CLUB Arvilla Swensen entertained the Rook club at her home on Thursday. Thurs-day. Members present; Arvilla, Lois Wilson, Ivy Allred, Ruth Talbot, Angie Pratt, Belva Morris, Dorothy Damron, Nina Mecham, and Beryl Hardy. Guests: Joy Hurst, Erma Cropper, Bertha Barton, May Cropper, Crop-per, Esther Petersen, Harriet Spend love and Eddis CoMrell. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Carter of Tempiute, Nevada are spending a week in Hihckley looking after his farming interests. Ruth Larson, daughter of Oleta Larson, and John V. Clark of New Jersey, were married in Oklahoma City, Okla., June 16th, by the LDS Mission President at Oklahoma City. Mr. and Mrs. George J.
