Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Damron were Mr. George Sebery, Mr. Morris Green, Mr. Bert Shippy, Mr. Jim Morris and Mr. Cleo Damron, all of San Francisco, California. Mrs. James Hardy, recently returned re-turned from Alaska, and her daughter, daug-hter, Mrs. Molly George of Kanosh, spent Monday visiting Mrs. Hardy's sister, Enid Damron. Mrs. Hardy had to have her passport signed by her sister Enid. She plans to join her husband in Japan as soon as her passport is cleared. The three ladies drove to Salt Lake City, Tuesday. Mrs. Don Larsen (Marje), of Ely, Nevada, visited Friday with Mrs. Oletta Larsen. Mrs. Mary Abbott and children of Spanish Fork, spent the weekend week-end visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Stewart Mr. Hugh (Hugum) Judd, working work-ing for Kennicott Copper in Euth, Nevada, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Judd. Mr. and Mrs. Blair (Eda) Max-field Max-field and son Russell, of Provo, spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Theobald. Sherlene Talbot, Gale Bennett, Merlin Theobald and DeLyle Bennett, Ben-nett, attending CSU at Cedar City, were home over the weekend. Hallowe'en Party Misses Linda Talbot, Rita and Gwen Bishop were hostesses at the Bishop home Friday night to a Hallowe'en Masquerade party. Everyone went through the "Spook room" and had their fortune fort-une told by the witch. Games were played and there was a fish pond. Guests were: Linda Johnson, Joan Murray, Emma Lee Taylor, Judy Draper, Clara Carpenter, Beverly Bev-erly Bennett, Mary Ellen Cropper, Susan Reeve, Alice Gaye Bliss, Patty Kernell, Christine Hardy, Sandra Taylor, Jeanette Hurst, Korma Deem, Paula Galli, Jimmle Talbot, Vicki, Craig and Artie Bishop. LaVonne Stewart and Melba Jean Swensen were in charge of the spook room and fish pond. Gyspy fortune tellers were Cecelia Talbot and Launita Bishop. Coalesce Club The Coalesce Club held their October meeting at the home of Dorothy Spencer Thursday. Delma Jean Galli gave a story while members made lapel pins. Present were: Beth Brown, Ar-lene Ar-lene Talbot, Bernice Palmer, Delma Jean Galli, Wanda Johnson, Josephine Jose-phine Hurst, Orpha Taylor. Joan Stewart and Carol Bishop. Sacrament Meeting Sacrament meeting was under the direction of the High Priests quorum with Leonard Palmer conducting. con-ducting. The opening song, by the choir and congregation, "High On The Mountain Top". Invocation was by Blaine Robinson. The choir sane. "Reverently and Meekly Now," followed by a vocal solo, "I Walked Today, Where Jesus Walked," by Mrs. Mona Davis, a visitor from the east. Lee Wilson was the first speaker. j A double mixed quartet: Elden Hurst, Alma Western, Blaine Spend love, Orlando Hepworth, Clara Stewart, Clarissa Blake, Ivy Allred and Belva Morris, sang two numbers, num-bers, "I Know My Heavenly Father Knows," and "Jesus. I my Cross Have Taken." Marion Jeppson spoke on "The Meaning of Church Membership." A special number by the choir, "Great Is The Lord," and the benediction by Willard Hardy. The ward show this week will be "Roman Holiday," with Gregory Peck and Audrie Hepburn. The Hinckley MIA are putting on a barbeque with all the trimmings Tuesday night at the Elementry school kitchen. Ellis and Louise Steven and family of Kimberly, Nevada, came in over the weekend to visit and on business. Ruevo Crafts and yours truly spent Saturday in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Crafts spent the day in doing research work at the church arch- Fidelity Club Mahcs Report The Fidelity Club held a Hallowe'en Hallo-we'en party on Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Moody. Dinner was served by hostesses, Inez Moody, Ella Black, Leatha Bennett and Thelma Seegmiller. The evening was spent playing rook. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wright, Dr. and Mrs. M. E. Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Seegmiller, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Henderson, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Black, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Moody, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Holman, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Sorenson and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Starley. Mrs. Thelma Black was hostess to the Fidelity Club on Oct. 13th. Dinner was served after which Mrs. Sebrina Ekins reviewed the book "The Power of Postive Thinking," by Peale. Present were Mrs. Ekins, Ora Gardner, Hannah Larsen, Romania Bird, Ella Black, Clara Killpack. Donna Sorenson, Agnes Allen, Artie Henderson, Vivian Holman, Zola Wright, Inez Moody, Ava Starley and Thelma Black. Mrs. Agnes Black and daughter, Thelma, spent the weekend In Salt Lake City and Midvale. On Friday they attended the wedding and reception for Mrs. Black's niece, Sandra Mitchell, and Richard Rich-ard George. Thelma was one of the bridal attendants for her cousin. ives, and I visited Arvin Rose, just released from the Holy Cross hospital, hos-pital, where he underwent three operations and an amputation. He has been at the Holy Cross for the past three months. Released From Air Force James Morris, son of Evelyn and Wesley Morris, arrived home Sunday. Sun-day. He received his discharge at George Air Force Base, where he spent most of his four years In the U. S. Air Force. He was also stationed for some time in Iceland. Garden Club Don't forget Garden Club, Monday, Mon-day, November 7th, at 2 p. m., at the Ward recreation center. An illustrated lecture on flowers, will be given by Mr. and Mrs. M. Ward Moody. There will be flower arranging and refreshments. All members are urged to be sure to attend. Rook Club Nina Mecham was hostess to the Rook Club, Friday night. Members present were Ruth Talbot, Tal-bot, Arvllla Workman, Ivy Allred, Arvilla Swensen, Vie Robinson, Dorothy Damron, Lois Wilson, Beryl Hardy, Thora Petersen, Belva Morris Mor-ris and Angie Pratt Guests were Erma Cropper, Roma Ekins, Enid Damron, Elaine Hardy, Joy Hurst, and Esther Petersen. First prize went to Ruth, second, Arvilla Swensen, guest, Roma, low, Lois and traveling, to Erma. Dale and Ila Little of Delta, Colorado, are visiting their par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Little and Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Talbot. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Taylor of Salt Lake City, are visiting Ralph's parents, Lorenzo and Lillian Taylor We all express our sympathy to lone and Jim Christensen at the death of their infant daughter, born in the Fillmore hospital on October 25th. Willard and Howard Hardy made a business trip to Provo, Friday.
