Is Good Advice Sheep producers in Millard county coun-ty will get help in marketing their lamb crop from a vigorous sales program to be put on this fall. All segments of the meat trade-retali ers, restaurants and cafe operators packers and information agenices have agreed to play up the use of lamb. Biggest probelm in marketing lamb is the very narrow area of distribution. Consumers in a few major cities "eat about 80 of all the lamb sold, the county agent points out. Consumers in Utah fourth largest lamb producing state in the nation have not al ways been able to buy lamb. Meat from Utah's lamb crop can furnish consumers with protein needs and add a relished variety to the dinner table as well as help support the local industry. Mr. Rickenbach suggests that Millard county shoppers ask their meat or grocery salesmen for lamb. If the store doesn't carry it, the owner will get it. All retailers have been urged to stock lamb in their meat counters in preparation prepara-tion for the fall sales promotion drive. Utah familes can also ask for lamb when eating away from home and help promote a Utah industry.
