She was some improved when her husband visited visit-ed her Saturday. Dee Nielson was called to Salt Lake when he had his physical last Monday. He left from Fillmore Fill-more with a group of fellows and returned Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. George Maxwell are happy over the arrival of a little daughter, horn at the Delta hospital. Mrs. Maxwell was able to come home Saturday an is at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Greathouse. The Relief Society held their opening social in connection with their work meeting Tuesday. Mrs. La Veda Bishop and Mrs. Myrl Bennett Ben-nett were visiting from the stake Board. Mr. and Mrs. Phiil Nielson and daughters took advantage of the two day vacation the school children had and drove to Enterprise, Enter-prise, where they visited Mrs. Nielson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Humphries. They returned home Sunday evening. Mrs. Dian Durrant and baby daughter have been here the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Overson. Mrs. Durrant Dur-rant and baby flew to Salt Lake from San Francisco and came on down here by train. Mrs. Inez Wiley, Mrs. Laura Nel son, Mrs. Ruth Abegglen and Mr. Lovell were in Salt Lake for the UEA convention. Herbert Abegglen went up Saturday and came home with Mrs. Abegglen. They visited Mrs. Banks at Nephl on their way home. Del'bert George underwent surgery sur-gery for ulcers of the stomach. He had to have seven pints of blood. So a group of men went to Salt Lake Thursday to give blood to replace that taken from the blood bank. Last report he was very slightly improved. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Benson and baby and Miss Romay Hogan came down Sunday from Provo and were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hogan. They were conference visit ors at Delta where they reported their mission activities. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thomp son and Mrs. Jean Ashby came down from Springville and visited Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nielson and family. The Thompsons are visiting visit-ing in Utah from California. Bishop and Mrs. Earl Greathouse and Greg spent Friday in Salt Lake. Mrs. Donna Haycock and two daughters, Carol and Connie, drove down from Salt Lake Thursday and visited until Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ashton and sons were here Sunday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs, Irvin Whatcott. They drove down from Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Curt Johnson and George are home after a two week's vacation in California, where they visited their daughter, JoAnn. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Little and son Guy, drove down Sunday from LehL Mr. little returned home ied by Miss Sandra Finlinson.
