Ekins and Mr, and Mrs. Walter Ekins visited at Dugway on Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ekins. and family. Mrs Evelyn Morris spent several days in Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Humphries of Murray have been visiting with Mrs. Hattie Humphries and sons Max and Wayne. Mr. and Mrs. Mahonri Cropper and family spent Tuesday in Provo. Daryl who is home on leave from Fort Lewis Washington, enrolled at the B Y U. Mr, .and Mrs. Carl Hardy and daughter, Kris and Mrs. Arvilla Workman attended the funeral services ser-vices in Spanish Fork Wednesday for the little two and a half year old son of Mr. and Mrs Chauncy Abbott who was drowned! Mr. and Mrs. Verdell Bishop and son Ray spent Thursday and, Friday Fri-day in Salt Iake City. Wendell Shurtliff, Dick Shurtliff, Bryant Shurtliff1 and Ed Woodbury, spent from Tuesday until Saturday on a fishing trip in the high Uin-tabs. Uin-tabs. They took Ronald to the doctor for a check up then in the evening they attend-d attend-d the University of Utah's presentation presenta-tion of "Oklahoma.." Mrs. Dorthlla Knot and son Stephen Step-hen of Ogden, are visiting with Mr. .and Mrs. Heber Bishop and fam lly. Mrs. Knots' husband will join her later in the week. Mary fiercer, of American Fork, visited Saturday with Mrs. Bertha Love. . Mr. and Mrs. Marion Dillenbeck, Jiromie Mienberg, and LeRoy Judd left Saturday on a vacation trip to California. . Gloria and Caylord Gardner, of Salt Lake City are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Shurtliff. Shurt-liff. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Robinson just received word that their daughter, Colleen, (Mrs Rhead Gunn) of Hayward, Cal!, has a new baby boy born July 12th. The baby will be named Stephen Reed. Mr. and Mrs. Don Ireland and family are visiting with relatives in Hinckley and Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hilton and family of Tooele, are visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hilton and Mr. and Mrs. Randall Swensen. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Allred have driven to Canada to get Mrs Allred's parents and bring theni to Hinckley for a visit. Mrs.. Sebrina Ekins visited Monday Mon-day Tuesday and Wednesday in Provo with Mr. .and Mrs Ladd Cropper and family. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Ekins and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ekins, and family and Mr. and Mrs. George Ekins 'and family attended the Ekins family re-union at Provo Canyon on Saturday. Sunday night Robert Bishop was released from the Hinckley ward Bishopric Robert is working in Springville and will move his family fam-ily up there before fall. Eldon Hurst was sustained as second counselor in the Bishopric. The remainder re-mainder of the meeting was under the direction of the Elders Quorum with Blaine Robinson in charge. Talks were given by Lowry Bishop Grant Pratt, and Cleone Talbot. "Our Father Which Art In Heaven" was sung by Dale Bliss, and "Even ing Prayer", was sung by Barbara Bishop, daughter of Gordon Bishop. Tuesday night the M Men and Gleanors enjoyed a swimming party par-ty at the swimming pool in Delta. Raymond Robinson was chairman of the party. After the swim refreshments re-freshments were served. Robert Wright, who is stationed at Castle Air Force Base in Merced, Mer-ced, Cal., arrived Sunday morning for a weeks visit with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Wright and family. Fancy Seamers 4-H Club The Fancy Seamers 4-H club at Hinckley met Monday at the home of Maxine Reeve and worked on their projects. While at the 4-H club camp the Fancy Seamers won second place on the program. Refreshments were served and a good time enjoyed by all Karolyn Morris, reporter At School For 31. A. Degree Miss. Dorothy Ruth Bishop of Delta Del-ta is doing graduate work a Utah State Agricultural college this sum mer in Logan. During the second session, which ends August 20, several courses are being offered in a variety of departments. de-partments. Miss Bishop is seeking seek-ing a M. A. degree in education. Mr. and Mrs Gene Walker were in Salt Lake 'City last week to bring home their son, Craig, 7, who had been treated at the general hospital for rheumatic fever, they learned that the little boy would have to remain in the hospital sev eral weeks yet. Some symptoms had developed that called for hospital hos-pital care, and Craig had been put back to bed, and his return home postponed. lirotlericks Hold Heuiiion At Iako The Eroderick reunion was held Saturday and Sunday, July 17 and 13, at Fish Lake, with seventy members of the family present. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Broderick of Delta were president and secretary sec-retary of the reunion this year, and twenty-five members of the group present were of their family- A program was given Sunday morning, with family groups taking tak-ing part Steak dinner followed, and games for the children during the afternoon. Ferry Broderick, of Emery, was voted president for the outing next year. Mr. and Mrs. Orran Ashby and daughter Margaret and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gardner, from Delta attended the Gardner reunion held in Salem, Saturday.
