Show Hinckley Bertha Lots ifc- , Mrs. Melba Mcintosh visited on Mr. La Von Morris of Pioche, Nevada Nev-ada stayed Monday night at the home of his 'brother, Harold R. Morris and family. Mrs. Ruth Ferre from Indianapoli,s Indiana is visiting with her sister Mrs. Mary Lee and with Mr. and Mrs. Marion Jepson and family. Tuesday night a speech contest was held in MIA Many fine talks were given. Helen Jean Taylor was the winner and will represent the Hinckley Ward in the Stake contest. con-test. Mrs. Norma Hannifin, and Mr. and Mrsj Auer Jensen were Stake visitors. Mrs, Roma Ekins, Leo Ekins, and Mrs. Marlene Bliss spent Wednesday Wednes-day in Provo. Bertha Love entertained the literary lit-erary Club Wednesday night. The book " Not As A Stranger" by Morton Thompson was reveiwed by Dolpha Bishop, Members present were Betty Jane Morris, Harriet Spendlove, Roma Ekins, Wynnie Wright, Reva Talbot, Angie Pratt, Elaine Hardy, Erma Cropper, Helen Hel-en Shurtliff, Belva Morris, Dana Bishop, Ivy Allred, Beulah Black, and Phyllis Bennett, Guests were Nina Mecham, Arvilla Swensen, Arda Davis, Dolpha Bishop, Lois Wilson, Ruth Talbot, Grayce Pace, and Lyla Rae Morris. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Ross and family from MeGill, Nevada were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hilton from Friday until un-til Monday. Mrs. Ross was formely Beth Hilton. Mr. and Mrs. Richard D. Roberts and sons David and Johnnie from Ogden came for the Alumni Banquet Ban-quet and Mother's Day and were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hilton. Mrs. Roberts is the former Eva Hilton. Mrs. Helen Hilton Green and daughters Margaret and Linda visited vis-ited at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hilton over the weekend and attended the Alumni Banquet and Mother's Day program.
