Show I Rliigngcitieiit Is Announced Mr. and Mrs. Heber Wilkins, of Delta, are announcing the engagement engage-ment of their daughter, Arlene, to Mr. Raymond Terrace Lvnch, son of Joseph Lynch, of San Francisco. ! They will be married Friday, Feb- j ruary 26, In a ceremony performed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Eu-gene F. Simmons, in San Francisco in the presence of members of the families and close friends. Mrs. Simmons sister of the bride will be matron of honor. The bride-to-be has been in San Francisco for the past two years, where she is employed in the Federal Reserve Bank. She is a graduate of Delta high school. The young couple plan to make their home in San Francisco after the wedding. Make Tour Willi Iteltn IMii Group Dale Johnson, member and accordion ac-cordion soloist with the Delta Phi Chorus, at BY!', and the DelTones, trio of vocalists Carolyn Cailisler Elaine Sorsenson and Phyllis Kay Moody, are making a five-day tour this week, in Arizona and New Mexico. Tuesday they gave a concert con-cert in Gallup, N. M. The DelTones were scheduled to sing at the Millard County Farm Bureau Convention at Oak City Saturday, but had a previous engagement en-gagement to sing in Pocatello, Ida. that night. They sang on programs last week in Salt Lake City, for the YSung Farmers convention, and again in Rose Ward. iniV Camp Will Moot Fridav The Ann E. They visited their daughter Cheryl, and husband George Weiss, and new son, "born Jan. 11, in San Francisco, and visited their sons, Shirley and Floyd, at Riverside, Cal. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bishop have just moved into the new home they bought there. Present were Mary Hunsaker, Athena Cook, Cora Day, Nona Ches ley, Norma Pearson, Lucile Osgu-thorpe, Osgu-thorpe, Pearl Nelson and Norma Pearson. Score awards went to Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Hunsaker and Mrs. Nelson. Now Garden Club At Siigarville Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allen spent the weekend in Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Allen had a thorough check by her doctor, who found she was doing very well since surgery sur-gery on her heart Nov. 21. He told her there was still room for improvement, however, and she will go back in another month for a check-up. She also visited her father, J. A. Skidmore, in Salt Lake City. Sugarville Garden Club was organized or-ganized recently with the following officers: Mrs. Faye Clark, president; presi-dent; Mrs. Maxine Abbott, vice president; Mrs. Audrey Meinhardt, secretary. Mrs. Virginia Cowers and Mrs. Alcidean Barker, County garden club officers met with them to help organize the club program. A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Max Christensen of Spanish Span-ish Fork, on Feb. 10. Mrs. Reva Talbot entertained the Hinckley Literary Club Wednesday Wednes-day night. Mrs. Ruth Robinson was in charge of entertainment, so she had the group play cards instead in-stead of giving a book review. Members present were Belva Morris, Mor-ris, Ivy Allied, Betty Jane Morris, Sebrina Ekins, Angie Pratt, Elaine Hardy, Roma Ekins, Helen Shurt-liff, Shurt-liff, Erma Cropper, and Phyllis Bennett. Guests were Vie Robinson Bertha Love, Arvilla Workman, Ar-villa Ar-villa Swensen, Betty Scott, Ruth Talbot and Dolpha Bishop. High score was won by Sebrina EkLns, Second Roma Ekins, Third, Angie Pratt and Low, Belva Morris. New officers were elected for the coming com-ing year. Dana Bishop was chosen to replace Erma Cropper as president presi-dent nd Reva Tlbot will take Phyllis Phy-llis Bennetts place as secretary. Mr. Lee Wilson went to Las Vegas on business. While there he visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Manis. Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Stewart have returned from a two weeks visit in Las Vegas and St George. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Erick Stewart and family and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Stewart and fmily in Las Vegas and Mr. and Mrs. Gale Stewart and family in St. George. Mr. nd Mrs. Lee Wilson received word that their daughter, Irene, now Mrs. Max Christensen, had a 7 pound baby girl Feb. 10. Irene is in the Pay son hospital. Mrs. Lois Wilson went up to see her Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. W. K. McLacklan and five children of Holliday came Thursday to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hilton. Mr. McLacklan went from here to Los Angeles on busines and Mrs. Mc Lacklan and children went home on the train Sunday, Mrs. McLack lan ws the former Farris Hilton and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hilton. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Talbot have returned from a trip to Cal., while there they visited with their children, child-ren, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Little and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Lee. A Garden Club was organized Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Sebrina Ekins. Sebrina was chosen as president, Evelyn Morris as first vice president, Arvilla Arv-illa Workman as second vice presi dent, Minie Talbot as Secretary, Clo Hilton, reporter and La Vern Theobald as program chairman. Mrs. Beth Anderson gave a report re-port on club activities in the county. coun-ty. She told about her trip to Leav enworth and about the garden club convention in Salt Lake. Millard Mill-ard county furnished the decorat ions for the convention and re ceived honor and recognition for their efforts. Following the report, Mrs. Ekins served refreshments. There were eleven ladies present. A land scape class will begin Thursday afternoon, Feb. 18 In the Home Ec room at the school house The class comes under the adult education and Mrs. Beth Anderson Ander-son wil be the instructor. Mr. Randle Swensen and Mr. and Mrs. Heber Eishop went to Salt Lake Tuesday to take Mrs. Swensen for medical treatment. High Councilman LaClead Neil-son Neil-son of Lynndyl was in charge of the Sunday evening s-rice in Hinckley. MUs Gladys Banks was the f.rst speaker. She reported her mission in New Mexico and Texas. Orlando Hep worth sang a solo, followed by to accordion numbers played by Susan Neilson. The concluding number was a talk by Mr. Nelison. Mrs. Adeil Petersen spent a week in Salt Lake on business.
