School Pay, Clementine, Clem-entine, is scheduled f to be presented pre-sented to the public on the 15th and ISth of February at 7:30 PM in the D. H. S. auditorium. Clementine is a three act play dramatized by Anne Coulter Martens Mar-tens and Wiliam Davidson and der ived from the Book by Peggy Good in. The play is under the direction of Dana R. Pratt with Margene Hilton as student director. The cast is as follows. Lu Jean Roper.... Y. liigh In ' Practice Game Thursday night, February 4, the Delta Rabbits came off with a 4S-44 win over the B. Y. High Wildcats, from Provo. This was a practice game, and it was in place of the "bye" Delta had last week. The game was close most of the way, and up until the last period both teams had traded the lead off and on, several times. In the Inst quarter, Delta gained their lead, and continued holding it up until the final buzzer. Delta won this game on foul shots. B. Y. High made more field goals than the Rabbits, but Delta made way the more foul shots. Dave Moody, Delta, was high scorer for the night with a total of 17 points, and Carl Winfield was next with 9. For B. Y. High Kay had 10 points, and Bullock and Oaks were right behind him with a total of 9. In the League games played this week in the Millard Division, Millard won over Mllford 54 to 46 and Parowan edged past Beaver 47 to 42, to gain a first place tie with Delta. This Friday Delta will host the Milford Tigers, here In Delta. Rabbits To Play Tigers Here This Friday The Delta basketball team will start off the second half of their league schedule this week when they meet the Milford Tigers, here on their own home floor, Friday, February 12. The last time these two teams met, Delta won a lop-sided 57-38 victory over them. Since then, Milford has lost all the games they have played, and so they are looking forward to a more successful second half than their first half has been. Game time at 8:00 P. M. In the Palomar. Reserve' seats are on sale at both drugstores at 75 cents. Mrs. Genevieve Eishop and family I Foley Foods Give Awards To 4-11 Cooks The 4-H Foley Foods Equipment awards were made at 4-H Rally meetings In Hinckley and Leamington Leaming-ton recently, reports Millard County Extension Service Staff. Receiving the equipment were Vona Lou Greathouse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greathouse of Lynndyl; Inez Nielson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Nielson of Leamington; and Grace Warnick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Warnick, Hinckley. Vona Lou received 1-Cup and a 5-cup Foley Flour Sifters, for her work in the 4-H Foods Phase, as a leader, a member and exhibitor in the "Food for Family Meal Cont-test" Cont-test" at the State Fair. Unit 117 Sends 12 Flag Codes During Boy Scout Week the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 117 sent Flag Codes to Boy Scouts in twelve wards in Deseret stake. They also sent a year's subscription sub-scription to the National Geographic Geograp-hic magazine to the Veteran's hospital hos-pital In Salt Lake City. It was for her entrance in the County Fair and State Fair Jam and Jelly Contests that Inez received re-ceived a Foley Food Mill. She too served as a leader last year.. Grace entered the County and State Fair "Meal Preparation Contest" Con-test" and was awarded the Foley Chopper, Blending Fork and Juicer. The Foley Manufacturing Company Com-pany makes these awards annually an-nually to outstanding 4-H members in the Foods Phase. Redmond Extends Telluride Power Co. Franchise The Telluride Power Company franchise to serve electric patrons in Redmond, Sevier county, has been extended for a period of fifty fif-ty years, according to an announce ment by T. M. Ashman, president of the town board. The existing franchise would have expired Dec. 2, 1961, Mr. Ashman stated, and action was taken at this time to tie in with a program of municipal munici-pal improvements and beautifi-cation beautifi-cation upon which the town board and citizens have been working for several years. "The Power Company and its employees have been very cooperative cooper-ative in helping us to carry out our plans," Mr. Ashman concluded.
