The water has been diverted from a well at a point N. 1574 ft. and E. 529 ft from SW Cor. Sec. 6, T17S, R6W, and used to irrigate 10 acres of land embraced In SEUSE'A Sec. 1, T17S, R7W; NW.SWM Sec. 6 T17S, R6W, and for the require ments of 100 miscellaneous live stock and 100 persons. Hereafter, it is proposed to divert 1 sec.-ft. of water from a 12-In well bet. 600 and 750 ft. deep at a point N. 2761 ft. and W. 144 ft. from E'A Cor. Sec. 11, T17S, R7W, to be used for municipal purposes in the City of Delta, The quantity of water to be diverted div-erted is not to exceed the requirements re-quirements of 10 acres of land, 100 miscellaneous livestock and 100 persons. To Appropriate: 24315-Queen of Hills Mining Co., Delta, Ut; .045 sec.-ft for mining purposes from an isolated unnam ed spring in North Fork of Weeks Canyon in unsurveyed territory at a point N. 2000'E. 2930 ft from a large Granite Rock on right side Of Weeks Canyon where said cany on meets Amassa Valley, and is located approximately in Sec. 20, T19S, R13W. The water will be collected in a concrete tank and conveyed through 2-in. pipe a distance dis-tance of 1250 ft. where it will be used for milling and mining pur poses and incidental domestic pur poses. The above uses will con sume .02 sec.-ft. of water and .025 sec.-ft. will be returned to the natural stream at a point E. 200 ft. from point of diversion. 24316-Queen of Hills Mining Co. Delta, Ut; .50 sec.-ft for mln ing purposes from Weeks Canyon Creek in unsurveyed territory at points and in amounts as follows (1) N. 7000'E. 1753 ft. from large granite rock on right side of Weeks Canyon near head Ol canyon where canyon meets Amassa Val ley-.25 sec.-ft.; (2) N. 7500'F 3536 ft. from said granite rock-.25 sec.' ft, both points being located ap poximately In Sec. 20, T19S, R13W. The water will be diverted from point of diversion No. 1 and con veyed a distance of 2175 ft through 4-in. pipe to place of use. When necessary the water from point No. 1 will be permitted to flow down the natural channel to point No. 2 and be diverted, to gether with the .25 sec.-ft of water from point No. 2, by pump, and conveyed a distance of 325 ft to place of use, where it will be used for milling and mining pur poses. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Cahoon from Tooele spent the week-end at Deseret visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Conk and Mrs. Lucy Cahoon. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Cropper, and Mr. and Mrs. Marlow Cropper and daughter attended the Rodeo at Lehi, last week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Coleman and child- red from California spent a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oral Black. The AUred descendents held their annual family reunion at Canyon Glen, at Provo on Satur day, June 28th. A program and good entertainment was enjoyed by 47 of the Allred families. Leigh R. Allred of Provo was president of this years' reunion. Those attending from Deseret, were Mr. and Mrs. I. B. Allred, Mr. and Mrs. Orln Allred and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Allred and daughter Darrel Allred and wife returned return-ed Sunday to San Antonio, Texas where he Is in the service. They had a month furlough and spent it at Deseret and Hinckley with their parents. Award night was held Sunday evening at the Deseret ward for the boys holding the Priesthood who had met all the requirements for the individual awards. The program was put on by the boys. They were: Douglas Torrens, Paul Dewsnup, June L. Dutson, Carl Webb, Gary D. Dutson, Robert Torrens, Tor-rens, Henry Kent Dewsnup, Wayne Western, Max Jensen and Gordon Dewsnup. Mr. and Mrs. David Hinckley spent Monday evening at the home ot Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Eli a son. Siigarvillc Vanice Davis Mr. and Mrs. Cloy Broderick are moving from Delta this weekend to Worland, Wyo., to make their home. Mr. Broderick will be manager man-ager of sales and service there for the Big Horn Chevrolet company. Their home has been in Delta for the past 18 years, while Mr. Broderick has been employed with Pace Motor Co. and Sunset Chev: rolet. Last week Mr. and Mrs. Brod erick made a trip to Worland and decided to make the change. Their son, Ronald, home on leave from the U. S. Navy, made the trip with them. ti, has been visiting with her son and -daughter, Harold Jensen and Lily Memmott. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith have moved to Dugway to Make their home at the present time, as he has employment there. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wilkison spent Sunday with her mother, Tressa Jensen. Tressa Jenson spent a few days in Pioche, Nevada with her son Oral Jenson and wife. Cecil Shurtz made a trip to Salt Lake to bring home his wife, who has been there visiting. Cal Boothe made a business trip to Salt Lake City this week, and had a medical check-up while there. Mrs. Mildred Oppenhiemer is very much improved. We'd like all the ladies to be to Garden Club Wednesday, July 8th at 2:30 p.m. The theme will be floral arrangements. It will be held at the home of Stella Shurtz. Maids spent several days at the Boulder Dam, those in the class are Veola Memmott, Nola Shields, eJan Jensen, Kathie Sheebe, they were taken down by their teacher, Collen Ashby and Louis Ashby. Doris Abbott and Mary Abbott made a trip to Salt Lake for marys baby had been left for medical care. It is getting along fine.
