Davis visited in Charleston, Sunday, with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Turner. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Fox of Salt Lake City were Sunday callers at the Charles Crabb home. Mrs. Crabb and Mrs. Fox are sisters. Mrs. Jay Bell and baby daughter, daugh-ter, Terry Lynn, American Fork, were Wednesday visitors in Lehi at the home of Mrs. Bell's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Allred. Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Wlnget visited with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crabb, Sunday afternoon. Miss Bertha Carson, R. N., came down from Ogden Saturday, for a weekend visit at her home here. Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Royle of Salt Lake City, were callers Wednesday Wed-nesday at the home of. an uncle, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Royle. Mr. and Mrs. - Keith Bradley and little daughter. Meredith Ann, Salt Lake City, spent the week end with Mrs. Bradley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo G Meredith. Mrs. Clare B. Christensen and three children returned midweek mid-week from Rawlins, Wyoming, where they visited Mrs. Allen's sister, Mrs. Trulan O. Eyre and family for several days. Mr. and Mrs. David H. Carson accompanied their daughter, Miss Bertha Carson to Salt Lake City, last Wednesday. They remained until Sunday visiting with their daughter and- son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Circuit. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Bascom of Bishop, Calif., left early this week after a two weeks' tay at the home of Mrs. Kate Roberts. Their daughter Colleen, 10, attended school here. A son, Boyd Bascom, and Miss Elaine Murray of Vernal, Ver-nal, joined the family Sunday. The young couple were married in Salt Lake City, Monday. Mrs. Mary Higginsen was a Sunday visitor at the Waldemar Jensen home. With her were her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson of Midvale, and their son, Elder. Lynn Nelson. Elder Nelson is recently returned from the Western States mission, where Mrs. Jensen formerly served. Mrs. R. J. Stice enjoyed a visit with a nephew, MSgt. Silas Stice, who called to see her last Friday enroute to San Francisco. He will leave for overseas duty in Japan. With his home in Missouri, Mis-souri, MSgt. Stice has been stationed sta-tioned in Racine, Wisconsin. He greatly enjoyed this, his first visit to Utah. He also visited at the home of a cousin, Boyd Stice, in Highland. His wife and baby daughter will join him in Japan in about three months. He is due for retirement in nine years. Mrs. Bernard Bradshaw of Salt Lake City spent Monday in Lehi with her mother, Mrs. Minnie Harris. She also visited with other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Holdaway of Salt Lake City were Sunday visitors with Mrs. Waldermar Jensen, sister to Mr. Holdaway. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Gale and family, (her daughter Rhea) were also here. Mrs. Clara Clover was an over night guest at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Don R. Coombs in Spanish Fork, Tuesday and Wednesday. They attended a Mother's Day program given by the La Aiglon Literary club, of which Mrs. Coombs is a member. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Losee left last week for a month's wedding trip, through southern Utah, New Mexico, California and up into Canada. They will attend temple sessions, enroute, and upon their return, will make a home in Provo. Bethers of 359 Washington Washing-ton ave., American Fork, Utah, was recently graduated from the Enlisted Basic Submarine Course at the Submarine Base, New London, Lon-don, Conn. The purpose of the school is to prepare the students to become members of a submarine crew by giving them a foundation of basic knowledge of the equipment, principles and skills involved i operating a submarine.
