Hall, was hostess at a family party Feb. 7, the birthday of Mrs. Wilson. Wil-son. Visiting and games made up the evening's entertainment. A musical birthday cake featured the lunch served to Mr. and Mrs. Vesper Diamond, Springville; Mrs. Roy Harris, Lindon; Mrs Melvin Devey, Mrs. Aden Brown, Mrs. Alta Devey, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Heaps, all of Alpine. Sixth Ward Sunday School February preparation meeting and social for the Sixth ward Sunday School officers and teachers was held at the home of Mark Coddington Monday evening with Mrs. Arvil Wadley in charge of the meeting. Mrs. Melvin W. Grant presented a chapter from "The Master's Art" and Carol Richards played a piano solo. Refreshments were served to 14. Mrs. Georee B. Brown. 434 North First East, was hostess for dessert-bridge Wednesday. A Valentine theme was carried out in decorations and lunch. Mrs. Walton E. Birthday Club Each of the 14 couples belonging belong-ing to the birthday club invited two other couples and all joined in a delightful Valentine dancing party in the Third ward recreation recrea-tion hall Thursday evening. The hall was gaily decorated, there were special mixers and a delicious de-licious lunch was served. Mrs. Ray E. Monson, Mrs. A. Ralph Smith, Mrs. Alvin E. Monson and Mrs. Melvin Frandsen had charge of the mixers, Mrs. Stanley Stan-ley D. Roberts and Mrs. G. Watson Wat-son Eatough planned the decorations, deco-rations, and Mrs. Wilson Ritchie, Mrs. Howard Munk and Mrs. Milton Mil-ton H. Vandeburgh had charge of the lunch. Junior Ladies Literary Mrs. Laura B. Neilsen, head of the physical education department depart-ment at the American Fork high school, gave a talk on Family Relations Re-lations before the members of the Junior Ladies Literary club Thursday evening. The meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Harold Holindrake with Mrs v. Vernon Holindrake Jr., who is president, taking charge and also acting as assisting hostess.
