Mrs. Annie Fritz returned to her home here Sunday, after an extended visit in, Salt Lake City children. ! i 7 Mrs. Kate Fowler entertained the "Pa's Club" at her home Tuesday evening. Mrs. James Comer entertained the Social Club at her : home Thursday of last week. A holiday visitor at the home of Mayor and Mrs. Carlos Coates, was the mother of Mrs. Coates, Mrs. Wm. Bagnell of Coalville. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Gill of Farmington visited at the Seth Littleford home on New Year's day. The Gills recently moved there from Salt Lake City. Mrs. Wallace Banks attended a social in Salt Lake City last week, honoring Dr. C. Lowell Lees of the University of Utah, who was beginning his leave of absence. ab-sence. Mrs. Banks has been a student of Dr. Lees for the past few months. Mrs. Harold W. Barnes enter tained at dinner at her home on New Year's day. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Alma L. Earl and children, Mr. and Mrs David L. Earl and family, and Mrs. David Conder, all of Amerl-can Amerl-can Fork; and the Barnes family. The group enjoyed a delightful time together. Mrs. Theo Pierson enjoyed a visit with Dr. and Mrs. Theron C. Olsen and children of Crescent, who called at her home last Fri day. Mayor and Mrs. Carlos Coates enjoyed the company of their daughter Karlyn (Mrs. Darrell Dansie), for a'long week-end. She returned to Riverton with Mr. Dansie on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Peet were hosts at a family dinner at their home on New Year's Day. Guests included, Mr. and Mrs. Don L. Peet and Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Pack (Gale) and family of Lin-don. Mr.' and Mrs. Reed Nostrum and baby daughter and Mrs. Jennie Jen-nie Nostrum, and Mr. and Mrs. Mel Boyce and daughter of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. James Comer, enjoyed a visit with Mrs. Hetta Laird at her home here Sunday. The baby was blessed in the Second Sec-ond ward jacrament meeting and given the name of Joylyn. A holiday visitor at the C, W, Lehmberg home was Mrs. Anna B. Argust, mother of Mr. Lehmberg. Lehm-berg. Mrs. Argust left Monday for visits with relatives in Roy and Ogden, enroute to her home in Logan. She is a temple worker work-er there. Holiday visitors at the Earl E-3ck home included, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Beck, Murray, their daughter, Mrs. Eddie Hiles and two children, and their daughter, Geneva, visiting from California. Also with the group were Vern Beck, and Junior Beck, home on furlough from the Navy in California. Pfc. Treston Beck returned to Barstow, Calif., after spending his Christmas furlough here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Beck. The Becks also enjoyed a visit from two other service men: Eugene Eu-gene Eeck, a nephew, stationed with the US Army in Virginia, called, enroute to his home in Eureka Another nephew, Junior Beck of Murray, visited here be fore returning to his Naval Sta tion in California.
