William B. Stapley, Castle Gate, a former bishop, eulogized Mr. Dimick. as a husband and father, and spoke briefly on the resurrection. Opening musical number was "0, My Father," sung by Walton E. Foulger, accompanied by Mrs. Leonard Howes. Following the invocation by Royal Dimick, a nephew, Mr. Foulger sang "In the Time of Roses." Between speakers Velera Larsen and La lu?, Miller accompanied by Shirley Dimick, sang "Whisper- i !, TIope'" and Rulon Nicholes 2 e,nneth L- Robinson sang ..SPIl3 H1Shway" and to close Hold Thou My Hand," with Mrs. Owen G. Humphries accompanying. accompany-ing. Mrs. Howes played the prelude pre-lude and postlude. The benedcitlon was pronounced pronounc-ed by James Pascal and Henry E. McNeill dedicated the grave in the city cemetery. Pallbearers were Theron and Warren Miller, Robert Pollock, Lewis, Vernon and William Dimick, all nephews of the deceased. Department of Education) Lifelong Resident Dies Here On Tuesday Mrs. Elizabeth A. Robinson, 87, died at her home here at 4:45 Tuesday of ailments incident to age. Mrs. Robinson was the second sec-ond oldest woman in American Fork. A daughter of Arza Adams, one of the original pioneers of this city, and Catherine Cunningham Cun-ningham Adams, she was born here November 26, 1860, the old est of a family of 12 children. Mrs. Robmson attended the early schools here. In June of 1879 she was married to William A. Robinson in the St. George temple, the only LDS temple completed at that time. They were accompanied to St. George by Mr. Robinson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William D. Robinson. They made their home here for a number of years and then moved mov-ed to Bingham where they resided resid-ed for about 20 years, returning here shortly before Mr. Robinson's Robin-son's death which occurred on May 13, 1920. The deceased was active in the Primary Association in her early married life and at the time of her death was a charter member of the Adams Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Ella Harrington, Mrs. Hazel Thomas, Mrs. George (Amanda) Earl, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Kate McTague and Miss Bessie Robinson, Robin-son, American Fork; a sister, Mrs. Mary A. Anderson, a brother, broth-er, Dan E. Adams and a half-sister, half-sister, Mrs. Lucy A. Ambrose, of this city; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be con ducted in the Third ward chapel Friday at 2 p. m., with Bishop Walter B. Devey in charge, Friends may call at the Anderson and Sons mortuary Thursday afternoon and evening, and at the family home Friday prior to services. Smith. Mrs. Clark Tolton gave a lesson on oratory and refreshments were served. Mrs. Merlin Larson, Highland, entertained at a lawn party Friday Fri-day evening, the occasion being the birthday of her husband. A wiener roast was followed by ice cream and cake. The family of Mrs. Emily Roberts Rob-erts held a reunion and steak fry at the Cave camp in American Fork canyon Tuesday evening. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Marion Poulson and family, Hol-laday; Hol-laday; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Stewart and family, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Holmstead and family, Lehi; Mr, and Mrs. Clinton Hill and family, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Roberts and son, Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Roberts and Larry, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Roberts, and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Roberts and children, all of American Fork. The family of A. D. Rhodes spent Sunday afternoon in the canyon at a picnic complimenting compliment-ing Mr. and Mrs. Don W. Rhodes and son Robert who are here on vacation from Madison, Wise. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Gomez, parents par-ents of Mrs. Rhodes, Mrs. Hugh Ericksen and son Gary, and Allen Gomez, all of Spanish Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Rhodes, Larry and Kent; Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Rhodes and daughter Connie Lee, and Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Rhodes were present. - Ladies Literary Club Mrs. Leo G. Meredith was guest speaker at the first meeting of the Ladies Literary club held Thursday at the home of Mrs. Vern Walker. Mrs. Meredith,, whose subject was "The American Ameri-can Home" told about a number of prominent Utah artists and displayed several of the paintings paint-ings which were in the Steel Day exhibit. Both the talk and the pictures were enthusiastically received re-ceived by the members. Mrs. George Meredith was responsible for the program, and Mrs., John F. Miller was co-hostess with Mrs Walker. A social hour and refreshments re-freshments followed. Junior Ladies Literary Opening social for the Junior Ladies Literary club will be held tonight at Vernal's Alpine Grille; Mrs. E. Vernon Holindrake Jr., president, announced early this week. All members are expected to attend. Third Ward Primary Officers Make Fall Plans recently reorganized Third ward Primary Association met Monday of last week at the home of the new president, Mrs. James May, to make plans for the opening-meeting opening-meeting which was held Tuesday of this week. The ward bishopric, Walter B. Devey, Leonard Shoell and Clifford Clif-ford E. Young Jr., were in attendance attend-ance at the meeting. The teacher teach-er training lesson was presented by Mrs. David E. Wagstaff, stake board member. Supplies and materials for the winter work were distributed to the teachers. Refreshments were served by the presidency, Mrs. May, Mrs. Ruben Adams, and Mrs. Paul Winborg. Mrs, Gayle C. Julian is the retiring president and Mrs. May and Mrs. Adams were her counselors. All children of the ward who are of Primary age are invited to join the association this coming com-ing season. Church News . Relief Society Relief Society union meeting will be held in the tabernacle Sunday at 2 p. m., President Alice Carlisle reports. All officers and teachers are expected to be pres ent. There will be a department for everyone. , Second Ward Primary Second ward Primary will open the winter season Monday at 3:15 p. m. All children of the ward up to 12 years of age are invited to attend, Mrs. Bernard Storrs, president, v said.
