IQ n -. i Mr. and Mrs. George Wanlass of Mantl, spenfe last Thursday evening in Lehi with Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Wanlass. Mr. and Mrs. Ray L. Allston and their three children of Salt Lake City, were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Hunger. Mr. and i Mrs. Le'R Ross of Provo, were Lehl visitors Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Madsen and Mr. Albert Lish spent the weekend in Pocatello, Idaho, their former home. They enjoyed enjoy-ed Memorial Day services in both the Fourth and Thirteenth wards there, Mrs. Madsen being called on to play the pipe organ in the Thirteenth ward. They returned their two granddaughters, 'Alona Kay and Venetta Jensen, who made the trip with them to their home In Orchard, near Woods Cross. Mrs. Grant Ash and baby daughter, Jerry Kay, of Madison, Wisconsin, visited at the Cecil Ash home, this past week. They will spend the summer In Provo. Miss Betty Christofferson left Monday night on a motor tour with a group from the Campus Branch of the BYU. They will visit the temple at Idaho Falls, and on the Cardston temple in Canada. They will return to attend at-tend the summer quarter at the university. ' , Mr. Allen Petersen, formerly of Fairfield, is visiting in Lehi with his grandmother, Mrs. H. R. Petersen Pet-ersen and other relatives here. He recently returned to the States from Honolulu, Hawaii. His wife, the former Beryl Cameron, Cam-eron, remained In Rupert, Idaho, for a short stay with her mother, who is ill. Mrs H. R. Peterson attended the funeral services in West Jordan Jor-dan Thursday for an old friend, Mrs. Laura Going Finlayson, 97. The family were neighbors in New Zealand before coming to Utah more than 50 years ago. Mrs. Peterson was accompanied by her daughters, Mrs. Clara Clover and Mrs. Margaret McMillan, Mc-Millan, and Mrs. Albertine Christiansen. Chris-tiansen. They met a number of old friends, among them Mrs. Dave Dahl and Mr. and Mrs. Among former residents who returned to Fairfield on Monday, Memorial Day, were Mr. and Mrs. Don Carlquist and family of Salt Lake City. Coombs and children of Spanish Fork, and Mr. Dean Coombs, to Salt Lake City and the Wasatch Lawn cemetery, where Mr. Coombs parents par-ents are buried. They also visited the Fairfield, West Jordan and Bingham cemeteries, to honor relatives. A beautiful new monument monu-ment to the memory of war dead was dedicated in the West Jordan Jor-dan cemetery. It is the work of Torlies Knaphus. Mr. and Mrs. John Kearney of Salt Lake City visited in Lehi with friends and relatives Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jones and family of Salt Lake City were Memorial Day visitors in Lehi. They called to see Daniel H. Cox, uncle and foster father to Mr. Jones. From Toquerville came Mr; and Mrs. Forrest Kleinman and their son Van, Sunday for a visit at the J. Earl Smith home. They also visited with the father of Mrs. Kleinman, Senator Claude Hershey, at the Utah Valley hospital. hos-pital. He is receiving treatment following a stroke. Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Pack and family of Lindon, spent Monday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Leon Peet, parents of Mrs. Pack.
