Black, 76. were conducted in the Presbyterian Community church Tuesday at 2 p. m. with Mr. J. H. Camp officiating. Mrs. Black died at 7:45 a. m. April 3, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Seibel following a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Black, the dauehter of Payne Kilburn and Marvena Lent Cogswell, was born in New York state Sept. 5. 1871. She married Johrt Langdon Black in Chicago. 111., Dec. 19, 1906. In 1908 they moved to Gary. Ind., Mr. Black died in October 1931 and from that time she has made her home with the Seibel family, coming to utan with them in 1943. Only survivor is a sister. Mrs. Nathan Weeks, Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services opened with Mr. Camp reading comforting scripture from the ritual for. the aeaa. me opening nraver was followed by the reading of the poem "Crossing the Bar" (Tennyson). (Ten-nyson). Melvin W. Mamess then sang "Abide With Me." For his sermon Mr. Camp used as his text Isaiah 64:6, "We all do fade as a leaf." He compared the life cycle of a tree with the human cycle, mentioning the seasonal changes of the leaves and the advancement made through life. He closed by say ing that as the leaf falls and returns to the soil to furnish fertility fer-tility to the tree and begin life anew so those of mankind who have lead the good life go on living. The prelude and postlude were played by Mrs. R. W. Clark who also accompanied Mr. Mamess. Brief graveside services were also conducted by Mr. Camp. Floral offerings were cared for by ladies of the church and pallbearers were Ellry and Carroll Sager, R. W. Clark, Eugene Shaffer, Harry Beighley and Wirt C. Barber. Mrs. Julia Robinson, 77, widow of George E. Robinson, died Tuesday morning at 10:15 of causes incident to age. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at one o'clock in the Fourth ward chapel with Bishop Leo T. Han sen in charge. Friends may call at the family home prior to services. Julia Jane Williams Robinson, the daughter of John and Jane Armstrong Williams, was born July 4, 1870. in Rush Valley, Tooele county. Her mother died when she was very small and she came to American Fork and lived with her grandmother, Catherine Armstrong. She was married to George Edward Robinson Rob-inson in 1888. He died in 1943. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Clyde and Frank. Surviving are seven children, Oscar, Edward. Leonard and Al- phonso Robinson, Mrs. Adolph (Sarah) Pederson, all of Ameri can Fork; Mrs. Clarence (Ethel) Skinner, Midvaie, and Mrs. Ed- son (Carrie) Rockwell, Lenn; a half-sister, Mrs. Ellen D. Fields, Wenatchee, Wash., 30 grandchildren, grandchil-dren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Welsh and son Larry spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Welsh.
