Miss Naomi Downs of Salt Lake City spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Downs. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whiting and two sons of Ogden were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marvel Comer Saturday. Mr. Whiting is a brother of Mrs. Comer. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nostrom of Salt Lake City were week-end guests of Mrs. Jennie Nostrom. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Garten and son, Clifford, of Salt Lake City spent Saturday visiting with Mrs. Theo Pierson. Among out-of-town relatives and friends who called at the James P. Christensen home before the funeral Friday were. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Hofeling, Mr. and Mrs. John Bollinger and Mrs. LaPriel Morris of Sandy; Mrs. Mildred Graham of Midvale, and Mrs. Jen Bone who is visiting in Pleasant Grove from Canada. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Merrihew of Ashby, Neb., Mrs. W. M. Campbell and Mrs. B. Harold Mendenhall spant Tuesday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Ricks Mrs. Leland Smith, Miss Lois Ricks and Mrs. Dale Ricks spent November 14 with Mr. and Mrs. Alex Ricks, parents of Bishop Ricks, who are observing their 53rd wedding anniversary. Duane and Alva Fenn Evans are proud parents of a 9 pound one ounce son, born Friday at the Lehi hospital. This is the first grand child of Mrs. Lelea Evans and the third for Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fenn. Mrs. Geneva Stewart has returned re-turned from Vernal where she has spent five weeks with her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Leath Miller, who operates oper-ates a laundry there. While there, she received word of an accident in which her granddaughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon L. Davis of Wheatland, Wyoming were injured. Mr. and Mrs. Davis were enroute home from Denver when their car skidded into another. Mrs. Jennie Nostrom arrived home from California last week, where she has been visiting for four weeks. Going by way of San Francisco, she visited there with Dr. Alia Lawrence and Mrs. Lula Allred. In Los Angeles she visited her son, Glen Webb, and her daughter, Mrs. E. L. Beck. Visiting Visit-ing many points of interest along the coast, she also attended the wedding reception for the former Mss LaPriel Goodwin of this city. Mr. and Mrs. William E. Merrihew Merr-ihew of Ashby, Nebraska are house guests of Mr. Merrihew's brother, H. B. Merrihew, and Mrs. W. M. Campbell. Mr. and Mrs. Merrihew are enroute to California to spend the winter. Mrs. Kate Jacobs of Pleasant Grove gave an interesting interest-ing account of her travels through England, France, Belgium and Switzerland. Mrs. A. K.
