E. Packard, president and general manager. One of Provo's most modern two-floor structures, the new building has 15,000 square feet of floor space to accommodate service and repair facilities, display dis-play rooms and general offices. It also has a large stock room with a complete supply of repair parts for Studebaker cars and trucks to service dealers throughout through-out Central Utah. Featured construction innovations innova-tions are abundant flourescent lighting, radiant heating and one of the most complete sets of latest designed auto repair equipment equip-ment in the intermountain area. The basement houses the body, fender and paint shop in addition addi-tion to a store room with Studebaker Stude-baker parts. The service department, under the direction of Lee Webb, is 82 feet long and 65 feet wide with four doors 16 feet high to accommodate accom-modate the largest vehicles on the highway. Mr. Packard, enthused over the bright future of Provo and Cen tral Utah, stated: "I am happy to have this new building become a part of the community and grow with it. Assisting with arrangements were representatives from the four high school classes. Patrons during the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Westover, Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Eanks, and Eldon Harding. Music was under the direction of Howard L Dettmar. High School Report Cards Are Due Mon. High school report cards will be issued next Monday it is anounced by Principal Lloyd B. Adamson. New Ski Lift at Brighton The 4,000-foot ski lift costing over $100,000 at Brighton will be ready for operation this season. This lift rises 1,000 feet and will be one of the best installations in the country. Eleven towers connect the upper terminal with the lower terminal. ter-minal. The towers vary in height from 36 to 58 feet. This height gives the skiers plenty of room to get under the cable no matter what the depth of the snow, which on this slope averages around 12 feet. Three ski trails have been made and others are being cut. Funds for the ski trails project have been provided by the State Department of Publicity and Industrial Devel opment.
