Guests from Price, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles were present. The bride received many beautiful gifts. The evening was spent in happy exchange of family news, and playing play-ing games; after which an elaborate elabor-ate supper was served buffet style. Mr. and Mrs. LUoyd 14. Auamson and Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Mitchell are the proud grandparents. Mr. Mitchell has been attending the University of Utah during the past season, and expect3 to return next year for graduation. Mildred and the baby will return to Lehi to spend some time with her parents here. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Zimmerman spent Sat. afternoon and Sunday in Provo canyon on a fishing trip, camping out overnight. Mrs. E. N. Webb entertained Mr, Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Loveridge at' dinner Friday afternoon at the Grill in Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Chilton have as their guests for a week, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Chilton of Pocatello, Idaho, who came Thursday together togeth-er with their daughter, Af ton, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Falter, and their two children. Miss Fae Beck West left last week for Seattle, Wash., where she will spend two months visiting with Mrs. Billie Melville. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Tregaski and son Nile, recently discharged from the army, visited at the Don C. Loveridge home Thursday evening. Mrs. Delia , Loveridge, Democratic Dem-ocratic candidate for State Senator for Utah County, visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Loveridge. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley M. Mangum, formerly a Corporal in the 8th Air Corps, has , spent the past month in the Veterans Veter-ans Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he has received surgical treatment. He has progressed satisfactorily sat-isfactorily and expects 'to be discharged dis-charged soon. Mrs. Vernon R. Radmall has gone to Florida for an extended visit, where she will be the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Lamb. While there, she will renew acquaintance with the many friends of herself and late husband, Sgt. Vernon R. Radmall, who was an instructor in radar in an army camp there. Mis Bonnie Freeman of Murray spent last week visiting at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Wm. Kirkham. Mrs. Charlotte Mangum of Phoenix, Phoe-nix, Ariz., is taking a summer course at the , B. Y. University. She is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mangum, and is spending some time visiting with relatives in Salt Lake and Provo, and Lehi. Mrs. Howard Hinchcliffe and daughter Janet, of Ogden, visited from Tues. to Friday here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Willes. Mrs. Franklin B. Adams and children, of Ogden, visited Mon-at Mon-at the E. N. Webb home. Mrs. Adams is the former Ha Webb. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Fjeld and little son Jeffery, of Milford, were guests at the home of Mr. Fjelds parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Fjeld, all last week. Mrs. Henry Beckel and daught-io daught-io Mv. Janet, and Bar bara were visiting last week at the Andrew Fjeld home. - , Miss Marie Rawlings of Provo is spending a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen jviou. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Lloyd and daughters, Barbara and Marilyn, of Salt Lake City visited Saturday evening at the home of Mrs. Leona O. Shelton. Mrs. Leona Shelton is taking a course at the Brigham Young University Uni-versity in preparation for a teaching teach-ing position in the Jordan District this coming winter. Mrs. Raymond Saddler, the former form-er Mavis Johnson, returned Saturday Satur-day to her home in Union, after a three weeks stay at the home of her sister Lola, Mrs. Maurice R. Sorenson, Draper. Mrs. Fern Johnson, John-son, her Mother received word that Mrs. Saddler's health is much improved. im-proved. She has been in a critical condition for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Anderson of Moroni visited Wed., at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Elmo Eddington. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford wiuer are the proud parents of a son, born Tuesday, June 11 at Jueni nospimi. Mrs. George Ingram and children spent Sunday afternoon visiting at the hospital in Payson. Mrs. Eva Nuttal, an aunt to Mr. Ingram is confined there with a broken hip. Receives Scholarship Mrs. May Hansen recently received re-ceived word that her son, Basil C. Hansen, has been awarded the Henry Newell scholarship for $450. Mr. Hansen, a former instructor, in Music in the Elementary Schools here, is attending Leland Stanford University, at Uerkley, Lain. Misa Margaret Thurman, who is spending part of her vacation at Mount Pleasant as a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Frantz Neilson, reports that her health is much improved since being there. Larsen, Fireman lc, arrived ar-rived home last week, discharged from the US Navy at Bremerton, Wash., June 4, after serving one year, eight months, and eighteen days. He served at Guam, Okina wa, and other South Pacific campaigns. cam-paigns. Stopping in Toyko, he toured the city, and saw many interesting sights there. However, Mr. Larsen states that Tokyo holds no. charms for him. He is wearing decorations for the American Amer-ican and Asiatic-Pacifies theatres, victory medal, and one battle star, for the Asiatic-Pacific campaign at Okinawa. Karl Tegan, son of Mrs. Minnie Tegan, was surprised with a visit from two of his former Navy "bud dies", Truman Head, and Don Johnson of New Mexico. They spent four days with him, during which time, he had a grand time showing them various points of interest in-terest in Utah. Karl was discharged discharg-ed April 30, reaching home in May.
