Donald is in the garage and auto parts business in that city. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Gale (Rhea Higginson) of Salt Lake City are rejoicing over the arrival of a daughter, born March 12. Mrs. Florence Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Luther Gale of this city are the grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. William Skinner were called to Salt Lake Sunday nig'ht due to the serious illness of Mrs. Skinner's son, Ralph Hutchings. .Mr. Hutchings was reported improving later in the week. Mrs. J. Sterling Merrell (Laurel Hutchings) visited in Brigham City with her husband, Major Merrell, who recently underwent a major operation. He is reported report-ed to be much better. Mrs. Merrell Mer-rell was accompanied by Major IMerrell's mother, Mrs. Mary S. Merrell of Salt Lake City. American Fork. Mrs. Dean Wright was hostess to members of the Llahonian club at the home of her mother, Mrs. Sylvan W. Clark, Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Mrs. Rex Zimmerman Zimmer-man read the litany, and a vocal duet was given by Mrs. Glen Wan- lass and Mrs. Basil Dorton, accompanied ac-companied by Miss Donna Had-field. Had-field. The radio script, "My Little Lit-tle Boy" was read by Mrs. Orville Christensen of Orem, accompanied accom-panied at the piano by Mrs. Norton. Nor-ton. Mrs. Lynn Webb was a special guest. Mrs. Kenneth Parkinson has returned to St. George after visiting here with her two brothers, broth-ers, Dean and Dale Kirkham, who have just received their discharges dis-charges from the service. Mrs. George Tate is returning to her home in McGill, Nevada, this week after visiting her mother, Mrs. Christie Willes. Mrs. Tate is the former Blanche Willes of this city. Mrs. Eldred South- wick, entertained at the home of the former March 13 in honor of their mothers. Invitations were written on ereen shamrocks, and St. Patrick decorations were used throughout. Dainty corsages were presented to the mothers by the girls, and the following program was given: vocal duet, Lois Wing and Lueen Peterson; piano duet, Glennis Wing and Marcielle Morgan; reading, Margaret Ann Bushman.
