Mr. and Mrs. Alvln Colledge of Orem were Lehi visitors Sunday afternoon. , Mrs. Ruth Wing entertained the Ikon-Oddity bridge club at her home Thursday, prizes being awarded Mrs. Vera Trane, Mrs. Phyllis Webb, and Mrs. Betty Fowler. Mrs. Sadie Beck was delightfully delightful-ly surprised by neighbors and friends Monday, the occasion being be-ing her birthday anniversary. Games and dainty refreshments were enjoyed by the honored guests and the following: Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Peck, Mr. and Mrs. James Gough, Mrs. Harriet Taylor, Mrs. Fern Johnson, Luther Luth-er Coates, Mrs. Sarah Taylor, Mrs. Ella Manning, ,and Miss Alma Beck. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Reims chilssel and little son, Kay, of American Fork visited in Lehi with friends and relatives Sun day. Ellen Ruth Banks is spending the Thanksgiving week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Banks. Friends of Virla Grace, 7-year- old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Grace, who recently suffered suf-fered a broken arm while playing play-ing at school, will be glad to learn that she is Improving nicely. Mrs. Matilda Phillips spent Wednesday in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Glen Mott entertained at a birthday party honoring her little niece, Vlrla Grace, on her seventh birthday. Mrs. James Gottfredson Jr. (Faye Hutchlngs) of Nevada has received word from her husband that he is en route home from Okinawa, where he has been sta tioned with the U. S. Navy. Mrs. Sophronia DuBois visited in Tooele Saturday witn Mrs, Keith DuBois and children. Mrs. Paul Mason of American Fork visited in Lehi Sunday, with Mrs. Denzil Turner and Mrs. Richard Sorenson. Elder Marion S. Cook and Fon Cook of Cedir Fort spoke at sacrament services in Fairfield Sunday evening. Xr.ey told of their experiences while serving J with the army in India, England, and Germany. Rulon, Fon and Marion Cook of Cedar Valley, returned service men, were the speakers at union meeting Sunday afternoon. Music was furnished by the Fifth ward mixed chorus. Miss Theda Henke and Miss Mirl Sunderland visited with Mrs. Karl Llnd (Zetella Price), who is in the LDS hospital, Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Mrs. Llnd, who is suffering fram a leg infection, is reported much improved. Friends of Ralph Hutchings, formerly of Lehi, will be glad to hear that he has been removed to his home in Salt Lake City from the LDS hospital where he underwent a major operation recently. Two visitors from Orem presented a discus sion on "Child Delinquency," and Mrs. Marvel Comer played two steel guitar selections. Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Barney (Maurine Peterson) have re turned to their home In Provo following a honeymoon trip to the coast. The newlyweds were honored at a wedding supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Peterson, with the following family members present: Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Peterson and daughter, Sheila, of San Francis co, Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Peterson Peter-son and sons, Gary and David A. of Milbrae, Mr. and Mrs. Dell Peterson and son, Kenneth, and daughter, Diana, of Palo Alto, and Mr.' and Mrs. Howard Peterson Peter-son and sons, Robert II. and Grant B., and daughter, Linda, and the hosts and daughter, Joada, and son, Sherman, all of Burlingame. Following supper the group spent the evening in reminiscing. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sorenson Soren-son and son Dickie of Redmond are visiting with Mrs. Sorenson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Denzel Turner, and with Mr. Sorenson's sister, Mrs. Stanley Webb and family. Oplympian Club members met at the home of Mrs. Glen Royle Thursday evening. .Mrs. LaVere Wadley of American Fork gave a book review. Miss Margaret Worlton attended attend-ed a regional convention of the Home Economics Association at Logan last week. Miss Worlton, a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Worlton, is national representa tive at the convention, which is made up of delegates from Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Wyoming. The family of Mr. and Mrs. William Skinner enjoyed a get together at the Skinner home, in honor of the birthday anniver sary of their mother, Mrs. Skin ner.
