He was formerly based at Ft. Meyers, Florida. VISITS PARENTS Ensign Don Johnson of the U. S. Navy arrived in Lehi Tuesday for a short visit with his tiarents. Mr. and Mrs. Urban Johnson. Ha has just completed his carrier training at Deland, Florida, and made the trip here by plane. He leaves July 8 for Kinesvill-a. Texas, where he has been assigned assign-ed to a night flying squadron. HOME ON FURLOUGH Pvt. Paul Willes of the U. S. Army Signal Corps has arrived in Lehi for a short visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Willes. He flew from Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, where he had been based, to Ogden. Upon termination termina-tion of his furlough, he will be assigned to a new post in Texas. HOME FROM OVERSEAS LaDrue Dorton, who has been serving in the European theater, has arrived in Lehi to visit his wife and three children. HOME FROM PACIFIC Robert Kearney, husband of Bertha Clark Kearney, has arrived ar-rived home from 29 months' service serv-ice in the Pacific area, recently serving in the Philippines. He has 125 points to his credit, and expects to receive his discharge. HERE FROM FORT KNOX Sgt. Eldon Clark and wife and little son are visiting here from Fort Knox, Kentucky.. Mrs. Clark expects to remain here indefinitely. in-definitely. Sgt. Clark is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Clark. MSgt. Merle D. Roberts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clint Roberts and husband of Mrs. LaVerne Roberts, of Lehi, was discharged today at Fort Douglas, Utah, per-ssonel per-ssonel center under the Army's adjusted service rating plan. The Lehi serviceman served 30 months with the Army Air Force in Alaska and Italy and wears the American Defense, Asiatic-Pacific Asiatic-Pacific and European theater ribbons.
