At a recent meeting of Ducks Unlimited, according to information informa-tion received by the State Fish and Game department, the sportsmen voted to change the common name of "mudhen" to i "whitebill", and as such, the coot is expected to join the otner waterfowl on the average bill of fare Investigations have shown the "mudhen" or "whitebill" does not eat fish and mud as commonly i suspected, but that its diet is as clean as any ducks, so its "whitebills" now, brother, and any duffer should get a bag of them.
