The Lehi Civic Improvement Association, sponsors of the Annual Lehi Roundup, have ob tained some of the world's greatest great-est rodeo performers for this year's celebration, scheduled lor July 1, 3 and 4. Homer Holcomb, who captivat ed last year's crowds with his agile antics, will have with him this year Slim Pickens. These two great western rodeo ciowns have worked out some catchy stunts for the entertainment of the crowd, while they are per forming some of the more ser ious duties of the rodeo clown, such as protecting the cowboys and bullriders from being trampled tram-pled by the enraged animals by diverting the attention of the beasts. All who saw Homer last year know of the tremendous value the clown periormers are, with their two-fold duties. Dick Griffith, a new enter tainer to these parts, but not to the rodeo world, has been sign ed for the Lehi show. Holding the championship for trick riding, rid-ing, he has some of the finest eauioment available, one oi tne greatest rodeo horses, Lady unei, will aid Griffith in giving a star brand of entertainment that is a show in itself. K' Carol Henry, one of the top- ranking feminine rodeo perform ers, will be here with her educat ed pony, Sweetheart. Miss Hen rv has been acclaimed wherever rodeo is enjoyed, and her past performances and the acclaim she has won are indicative of the high-type entertainer she is. ' Working with the above nam ed performers, being on the same high plane of performers, are Dick and Pauline Pickard, a trick and fancy riding and ropm team that will intrigue every flesh. Jack Oakey, who announced the show last year, will be on hand again to give a fast-moving word description of the events as thev hanoen. His manner of fitting the word to the action proved to last year's fans that he truly deserves the title of western announcing champion, which he won recently. These entertainers, coupled with all the regular thrills that are associated with rodeo, will go to make this, year's Roundup the best ever held in Lehi.
