Fork News WEDDINGS Of interest to local residents who remember Mr. and Mrs. Al fred Jensen (Lola Wagstaff ) now residents of Huntington Park, Cal., will be the marriage this week of their son, Pvt. James O Jensen to Miss Roeine Seamons of Hyde Park, Utah. The ceremony was performed Thursday in the Logan Temple A reception followed at the home of the bride. The newlyweds will make their home in Fresno, Cal., where Private Jensen is station ed. Mrs. Jensen, mother of the groom, spent Monday and Tuesday Tues-day visiting in American Fork. She left Tuesday evening for Logan. She will return Saturday to spend two days and will then go to Moroni to visit for a week with her daughter, Mrs. Howard Blackham, and family before re turning to her home. Miss Joyce Houston Hous-ton and Miss Betty Birk poured and Miss Mary Lou Devey, Miss Marilyn Brown, Miss Beverly Birk, Miss Louise Boley and Miss Magraret Morton assisted in serving. The program was carried out as published last week. Lucky numbers were drawn by Mrs. I. Jay Neeley, Mrs. E. Ray Gardner and Mrs. David Greenwood. Mrs. Neeley received a potted Maple Queen ivy, Mrs. Gardner a bogo-nia bogo-nia and Mrs. Greenwood the centerpiece. cen-terpiece. One hundred-seventy-five ladies attended. The general committee as well as Mrs. V. F. Houston, chairman for the tea, wish to express their appreciation to the committee members for the untiring efforts which made such a success of the affair. W, Madsen received re-ceived the prize for high score, Mrs. Clyde Birk second and Mrs. Floyd Loveridge the consolation favor. The guest prize was won by Mrs. Faddis. 500 Members of the 500 club enjoyed en-joyed Saturday evening at a dinner din-ner dance.
