Mr. and Mrs. George Price and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Price attended at-tended a birthday dinner In American Fork honoring the birthday anniversary of Ronald Price, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Angus Gardner were Salt Lake City visitors Tuesday, where they spent the day. Mrs. Geralee Sorenson Glather has left for Walla Walla, Wash., to Join her husband, Lawrence Glather, who is stationed with the TJ. S. army there. Mrs. Phyllis Preston entertained enter-tained a group of friends of her son, Richard, Wednesday afternoon, after-noon, honoring his birthday, which occurred on that day. Mr. and Mrs. Clell Jackson were Monday night guests of her sister, Mrs. Henry Scheuller, of Layton. Monday evening the group motored to Hill Field at Ogden to view the Mephls Belle, the famous plane that has been flown 25 times over Germany. Mrs. Eloise Tipton and Mrs. Mary F. Mrs. Paye Hutchings Gorttfred-son Gorttfred-son arrived in Lehi Monday evening eve-ning for a short visit with her mother, Mrs. William Skinner. She has been In Ames, Iowa, for the past six weeks with her husband, James Gottfredson, Jr., while he has been taking a diesel engine course in the U. S. navy. He was promoted to First Class Fireman upon completion of his who i training there, and has been transferred to San .Francisco. Mrs. Gottfredson plans to leave Sunday to join him at the coast city. All dog owners wishing to keep their dog or bitch must pay the license fee to the Lehi City Clerk at once. Any dog or bitch running at large within the limits of Lehi City without collar and license tag will be killed. The retired Relief Society stake presidency held their annual ann-ual summer party in Wines Park Thursday afternoon. A delicious luncheon was served, and the delightful afternoon was spent in , renewing old friendships. A delightful surprise party honoring the outgoing officers of the Second ward Young Women's Wom-en's MIA was held in Wines Park Saturday evening, with Beehive girls of the ward and their leaders, Mrs. Annie Webb Mrs. Elva Tingey, Mrs. Adelaide Thrasher and Mrs. Geneva West as hostesses. A short program was presented, followed by dainty dain-ty refreshments and games. A thoughtful gift of remembrance was presented to each of the outgoing out-going officers, as a token of appreciation ap-preciation for their leadership during the past year. This is the first group to go from the two wards in several years, and a good time is expected to be had by those who went up with the group. In the evening the group returned to the Edward Ed-ward Fox home, where a waffle supper was served.
