High score honors were won by Mrs. Thelma Miller, the traveling prize award went to Mrs. Alta Wanlass, a guest of the club, and Mrs. Ida Gray received re-ceived the consolation favor. BROTHER OF LOCAL MAN DIES Angus Gardner of Lehi received word off the death of his brother, Hyrum Ozro Gardner, 80, ol 6t. George. He was a prominent citi zen of southern Utah, serving as a member of the school board for many years, and was active In L. D. cnurcn duties. Funeral services were conducted Monday at Delta. Department Called To Grass Fire A fire which had apparently been burning for several hours In the pasture of Sarah J. Webb was extinguished ex-tinguished by local firemen at 2 a. m. Monday morning The fire had apparently started along the Qrem track, and had spread through the pasture, threatening sheds and haystacks near by. Mrs. Webb wishes to express her sincere appreciation to the firemen and to the one who turned in the alarm, as considerable damage mieht have been done if the fire had been left unattended.
