The occasion was in honor of the birthday anniversary of Billy Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Evans and family returned home with her and visited Sunday and Monday. Mrs. Warren Bone and daughter Leda of Huntington Park, Cal., vis ited in Salt Lake City Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bone and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Giles. Gard ner spent Friday at the Salt Lake temple. Susan and Tommy Stewart re turned to their home in Salt Lake City Sunday after vilstlng for the past week with their grandmother, Mrs. Geneva Stewart. Mrs. Stewart accompanied them home and spent the day visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Evans and Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Evans vis ited at Fort Douglas Saturday with Keith Evans and in Salt Lake City with Mrs. Emory Smith. Mrs. A. K. Chatfield Is visiting this week in Brigham City with Mr. and Mrs. Milton Russon and baby. Mrs. James H. Gray spent Mon day in American Fork visiting with her daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Brown and Mrs. Julia Brown visited at the LDS hospital Sunday with Mr. Leon Taylor. They report that he is Improving. Mrs. Polly Giles returned home last week after spending the past four months in Portland, Ore., visiting vis-iting with Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cox. Mr. and Mrs. Cox returned home with her and visited until Monday with relatives. STYLE SHOW SUCCESSFUL The style show, sponsored by the stake Relief society and held Monday Mon-day at 2:45 p. m. In the high school auditorium proved to be very successful suc-cessful and much valuable information informa-tion was received by local women. Miss Omen, an efficient stylist from New York City, conducted, and students of the high school modeled the dresses. By applying the information received re-ceived and doing their own sewing at home, women will be assisting in the defense program. FORMER LEHI RESIDENT ENLISTS IN U. S. COAST GUARD Thursday, Mr. Glen Daniels, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Daniels, 366 Logan avenue, Salt Lake Cty, and former residents of this city, enlisted en-listed in the United States coast guard. He will be stationed at Port Townsend, Wash. Glen is a graduate of the South high school in Salt Lake City.
