The immediate needs for materials required for national defense are tremendous, requiring requir-ing industrial expansion at a rapid rate. Electric power in ample quantity is ready and will be kept ready to meet those oeeds. It is adequate because, over the years, the electric utility industry has increased its power plants and other facilities always keeping ahead of the nation's requirements.
