Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Jackson left this week for a vacation in New York City.. They plan also to visit church historical points of interest In Palmyra and numerous other places. At a marriage in Everett, Wash- I ington, Monday, Miss Florence Jackson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Jackson of Logan, became the bride of Howard C. Boulton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Boulton of 605 South Redwood road, Salt Lake City. Miss Jackson left Wednesday for Washington to meet her fiance. .They will reside in Everett. Both Miss Jackson and Mr. Boulton Boul-ton are graduates of Utah State Agricultural college at Logan, where she was a member of Tau Zeta Tau sorority and he was affiliated af-filiated with Lambda Chi fraternity. fra-ternity. Miss Jackson has taught the past two years in Lehi city schools. A trousea tea last Sunday at the home of her parents was the occasion occa-sion for Miss Jackson's displaying her lovely trouseau to approximately approximate-ly one hundred guests. Other prenuptial parties for her included a dinner recently for which Dr. and Mrs. George C.Fick-lin C.Fick-lin were hosts at their home in Tremonton, and a shower at the bride-elect's home for which Mrs. Linden Castle and Mrs. Elden Jensen Jen-sen were co-hostesses. In Salt Lake City Miss Jackson was honored at a shower at the home of Mrs. Gordon Russell. During her residence in Lehi Miss Jackson was active in church and social affairs. She took part in the Lehi stake M. I. A. play last year. Her many friends here join in wishing her much future success and happiness. Mr. and i Mrs. Leo Trinnaman spent Monday .visiting in Salt Lake City. Former Resident Dies In Salt Lake Relatives and friends in this city were very much grieved to hear of the death of Mrs. Vilate Amy Sharp Pratt. 59, of 125 South Third East street, Salt Lake City, a former resident res-ident of Lehi. Mrs. Pratt died Thursday at 2:30 p. m. at her home. She was born in Lehi, Utah, December De-cember 22, 1880, a daughter of William Wil-liam Robert and Vilate M. Anderson Ander-son Sharp. Mrs. Tratt had resided in Salt Lake City for the past 31 years and was an active Relief society worker for many years in the Wasatch ward. She was a graduate of the Ilrlgham Young university in Provo Pro-vo and formerly taught school in Leht and Murray. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Reed Stringham, Mrs. Sheldon Shel-don R. Free and Beth Pratt, all of Salt Lake City; two brothers, Major Ma-jor W. R. Sharp of Mexico City, Missouri, and Frank Sharp of Lehi, and three sisters, Mrs. E. H. Hyde of Logan, Mrs. E. A. Paxman of Provo and Mrs. E. H. Boley of American Fork. Funeral services were conducted in the Wasatch L. D. S. ward chaoel. 1455 Emerson Avenue, Sunday at 12:30 p. m. with Bishop Rulon J. They were royally received and after, the meeting they were served dainty refreshments. There were about sixty Lehi people peo-ple who attended, including the choir members and partners and other stake members. Mrs. I. W, Fox left Tuesday morning for Boise, Idaho, to spend ten days visiting with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fer-rel Fer-rel Brems, and little daughter. Saturday Bishop and Mrs. Evans L. Anderson entertained for Mr and Mrs. Harold W. Johnson of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Anderson. Miss Edith Goates of Salt Lake City spent the week end here with Mr. and Mrs. Herman C. Goates. She accompanied them to Park City Sunday evening, where Mr. Goates was the speaker. Mr. and Mrs. Junius Banks spent from Thursday until Saturday visiting vis-iting in Salt Lake City. Mr. Banks attended teacher's institute and Mrs. Banks spent the time visiting with relatives. .
