QUILTING BEE HELD BY RELIEF SOCIETY The quilting committees and the executives of all ward Relief societies so-cieties in Lehl stake, including the five Lehi wards, Fairfield and Cedar Ce-dar Fort, participated in a grand quilting bee Tuesday in the stake tabernacle basement. The affair was a welfare project and twelve quilts were made for the church welfare program. Each of the Lehi wards made two quilts and Fairfield and Cedar Fort each finished fin-ished a quilt, making a total of twelve. More than one hundred Relief society ladies were present and while industriously stitching they enjoyed a delightful visit together and felt that the day was well spent and a very successful one. At noon the Relief society stake board served dinner to the ladies and during the afternoon a program pro-gram was given, including a reading read-ing by Miss Virginia Meilng and selections by the girls' chorus, under un-der the drection of Miss Ada Phillips. Phil-lips. President A. Carlos Schow and President Peterson talked to the ladies regarding the welfare work and program. They expressed appreciation ap-preciation for the work that had been done by the Relief society sisters sis-ters and outlined the work that will be expected of them in the future. Mrs. Delia Fox, stake Relief society so-ciety president, in reporting the day's activities, stated that the quilting bee was a complete "success "suc-cess and the cooperation of the Relief society workers in this work was greatly appreciated by the stake board members.
