Clark of Lehl, chairman. Tpntative budget compiled by County Auditor Marcellus Nielsonon the requests of the various county departments totaled $484,609.25. Commissioners must either trim fil 422.37 from the tentative budget of $484,699.25 which was based on requests of the various departments or raise the county levy of 7.95 mills to 9.41 mills for the ensuing year, Mr. Clark said. Work on making these cuts was begun by the commission Thursday when they went over the budget den ands of the various offices and underlined various amounts that might be eliminated, he said. Principals of the various county departments will be called in during the next two weeks to discuss their budget requests and determine Just which items might be pared, Mr. Clark said.
