Lucky Deer Hunters Return A big percentage of Lehi's male population, as well as some of our lady citizens, Joined with sportsmen throughout the state in the annual deer hunt- Saturday, early Sunday morning and Monday saw numerous people packing up and leaving for Southern South-ern Utah, Northern Utah, and nearby near-by canyons in search of venison. Among the lucky hunters returning return-ing with a deer are: Spencer Chat-field, Chat-field, Bill Powell, Sylvester Clark and' party, George Price, Dr. E. Ed-dington, Ed-dington, Byron Whipple, Darrel Adams, Ad-ams, Alva Wing, Newell Turner and party, Merwin Lewis, Herbert Edwards, Ed-wards, Herman Allred, Walter Wof- finden and son, Georg Smith, Leon Peet. LOCAL GIRL CHOSEN AS SPONSOR OF R. O. T. C. LOGAN Madge Worlton, of Lehi, a freshman student at the Utah State Agricultrua! college, was recently re-cently selected as a platoon sponsor of me k. o. t. c unit at the college, according to information received. Miss Worlton was chosen for this honor by advanced military students and members of the sponsors spon-sors club. Sponsors will wear uniforms uni-forms and drill with the R. o. T. C- on drill days, as well as march with them on special occasions and parades. Miss Worlton is a member of Alpha Chi Omega, social organization organiza-tion on the campus.
