Raeldon Goates left Monday morn ing for Logan where he will take up his duties as sports writer for the Deseret News and also enter the Utah State Agricultural college. His mother, Mrs- Juliet Goates, accompanied ac-companied him as far as Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs- Thomas Wilcox are proud parents of a lovely nine-pound baby daughter, " born Thursday. Mother and baby are doing nicely. Mrs. Wilcox was formerly Miss Ruth Christofferson. The baby arrived on her mother's birthday anniversary. Mrs. Andrew Fjeld in company with her daughter and son-in-law, Dr- and Mrs. Kenneth Noyes. of American Fork, arrived home Thurs day from Yellowstone National Park where they enjoyed a very enjoyable trip. They were gjone two weeks. Friends will be glad to hear that Fulmer AUred; who is fulfilling a mission in California, is much better. bet-ter. Fulmer recently suffered an ap pendicitis attack and it was feared that he would have to undergo an operation, but he Is much improved now and able to be about his missionary mis-sionary work again. Friday morning the Seagull girls of the Fourth ward Primary enjoyed an early morning outing at Mitchell Hollow. They cooked their break fast In the group were Maurine Russon, Shirley Hosking, Irene Bush- mam, Ms Nicholes, Betty Christ offerson, the class leader, Miss Zina Anderson, and Miss Ruth Rothe, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Roberts and baby daughter, Anita; of Washington, Washing-ton, D. C-, are spending their vacation vaca-tion here with Mr. Roberts' mother, Mrs- Emma Jane Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Ford Roberts and son, Richard, Rich-ard, and daughter, Patricia, of Elko, Nevada, and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Roberts and don, Paul, of Cedar City, were also visiting with their mother here last week. It has been ten years since the three brothers have been together and a real pleas ant reunion was enjoyed by the group. Dean Wilcox arrived home last week from Rexburg, Idaho, where he has been spending the summer with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Emery M Anderson. Mrs. B G. Webb and son, Dick, spent last week visiting in Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. James R. Atkinson and Mr. and Mrs- Wesley Jense. During the week the group formed a party and enjoyed an outing out-ing at Mirror Lake for three days. They report a fine trip. Mr. and Mrs- O- R. Ivory of Salt Lake City visited here last Friday. Their daughter, Jean, who has been visiting here with, her grandmother, Mrs. Rachel Anderson, returned home with them.
