U. play, "To the Ladles", in which Glenn Webb, son of Mrs. Nostrom,, took a major part. Erneet D- Webb in American Falls, Idaho, reports extraordinary luck in hunting pheasants. He went hunting all three days and was successful In getting his limit each day. ErnerA, Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Webb of thia city. The social club ladles spent a pleasant afternoon at the homo of Mm Azer Southwlck last Friday. Bridge was played at small tables, the prizes going to Mrs- Howard Strang of Orem and MYs. Edith Evans. Mr. Roy Toothman, who has been staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Johnson for the past four months, left Tuesday for his home in Los Angeles, California- Mr. and Mrs. E- E. Curtin Mr. and Mrs- W. M. Hlcka, Mrs. John Jessup and daughter, Joan, motored to Copperton Sunday and visited with Mns. Guy Murray. Mrs. Mur ray is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Curtis. The M. Men and Gleaners of the Second ward were entertained at "Hobo" party Tuesday evening. The guests came dressied in hard time apparel and spent a merry evening in games, after which delicious de-licious refreshments were served. The general public of Lehl is in vlted- SCHOOL CENSUS COMPLETED The School Census taken during beet vacation in October haa now been completed. In Lehl there are 684 boyis and 491 girls between the ages of six and eighteen, an increase in-crease of fifteen over last year. There are sixty-five in Cedar Fort and 82 In Fairfield between these ages, there being a slight decrease in these two communities. In Lehi district, including both of these communities, there aYe 1,172 child ren of w;hool age, an Increase of 8 over last year in the Lehi School district. Mr. Allen Al-len l the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs Suel Zimmerman of this city- Mrs. Sarah Carter was operated on for appendicitis at the local hospital Wednesday morning. BEAUTIFUL SERVICE HELD FOR ANN ELISE NELSON Beautifully solemn were the funeral fun-eral services held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock p- m. in the Lehi First ward chapel for little Ann Ellse Nelson, nine months old daughter of Reginald and Dorothy Peterson Nelson, who passed away the previous prev-ious Tuesday, following an illness of an inward hemmorage- Biflhop Hyrum A. Anderson of the First ward was in charge of the services which opened with a Relief Society Chorus singing, "Lullaby", after which President A. C- Schow offered the opening prayer. pray-er. A meeting to organize the club will be held next Tuesday evening at ' 7:30 p. m. in the Memorial building. Everyone in the community who feels like Joining the club and who are interented, are urged to be in attendance at the meeting. Several clubs of this nature have been organized In surrounding cities and have proved to be very succsessful. In. Bountiful the people peo-ple report that a club of this sort is a fine thing for a community-It community-It Is a splendid way to get people together socially and has proved a way to get people together that otherwise would never meet possibly, possib-ly, In any other, way- SPANISH FORK DEFEATS LEHI IN LAST FOOTBALL GAME The Spanish Fork grldders took the undisputed lead In District 5 Friday afternoon by whipping1 the Lehi squad by the score of 21 to 12, while their last rival, American Fork, fell to Payaon. The victors scored twice In the first period to clinch the game early. The first was made after recovering a Lehi fumble on the 3 yard line and the second came when M.
