All announcements and a preliminary pre-liminary act will be given by Mr. Jimmie Toung, a clown marionette. The play "Peter Pan" is a fantasy of the Never, Never Land, or the Dreamland of children. We can all look back on our childhood days and .remember our own dreamland. Each dreamland Is entirely en-tirely different, but that is the good of a make believe place. You can cram it up with all sorts of things and not matter how Jumbled It be comes It will never hurst. This makes the play "Peter Pan" Just as interesting to adults as to child ren. In the story we meet Mr. and Mrs. Darling, their three children, Wendy, John and Michael, with the large Newfoundland dog, Nana, who acted as nurse for the child ren Nana looked after them in every way, baths, clean clothes, medicine and all the rest of It. The Darlings were very happy; the children most of all, for whatever they had not really got, they pretended pre-tended they had it in their make believe Island, called the Never-land. Never-land. In the children's talk of the Neverlnnd Mrs. Darling heard one name mentioned more and more often as time went on. This name was Peter. After asking who he was she was told that he was Peter Pan, who had flown out of the window when he was a baby and never could come back or grow up. Wendy told her mother that Peter came through the window In the night, sat on the end of her bed and played his pipes to her. Mrs. Darling thought it was all a dream but the next night she sat promised to telch them to fly tL with him to the Never- " IdThe story continues with their adventures enroute to the Never-land Never-land and the strange things they saw and! did while there. There they met the lost boys who were hiding from the pirates; the pirates who were trying to capture the lost boys; the crocodile that was trying to get Captain James Hook. The crocodile never could catch up with Hook because the clock it had once swallowed ticked so loud it always gave warning of its coming. The story Is concluded by the pirates capturing the children, taking tak-ing them abroad the pirate ship. Peter Pan, imitating the ticking of the crocodile frightens the pirates so that he rescues the children and finally kills the pirates. After this adventure Peter Pan takes the Darling children and the lost boys back to the Darling nursery. The children are received by Mr. nnd Mrs. Darling. The lost boys or artonted bv them. Before Peter leaves the nursery Mrs. Darling has to let Wendy go with Peter to the Never, Neverland for one week each year to do his spring house cleaning.
