Wednesday and Thursday of last week with the national oratorical contest. Two students were seiected each day on a point system. From the six thus chosen. four were selected as Quarter final ists. Stoddart and Carl Roberts, both of this city, were arrested by Marshal A. D. Christofferson on an intoxication charge Tuesday night They were each fined $50. They remitted re-mitted $40 each. , Sunday night seven chickens were stolen from Mrs. Pearl Patterson. Pat-terson. Officers were notified of the robbery and began tracing the clues found."
