Mias Marell Murray and Mr. Rulon Timothy of Copperton, were gueste of Miss Hulda Curtis last Wednesday eyening. Mr. C. C. Hackett nd daughter, Maude, and Mrs. L. A. Valentine spent the week-end In Salt Lake City with relatives and friends. A gay social event of the past week was the miscellaneous shower party given in compliment to Mrs. Glen Wasden, nee Miss Eudon Evans, by Misses Lela Dunsdon, Verland Evans, Luclle Bateman and Mrs. Rex Holm stead Saturday evening at the Bateman Bate-man home. The entertaining rooms were profusely decorated with I variety of spring flowers. Radio Mr. and Mrs. W. tained at a delicious chicken supper Saturday evening for Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Wing and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Smith.. Mr. and Mrs. William Ritter and Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Fredrickson of Salt Lake City, left Wednesday for a week's camping and fishing trip at Granddaddy Lakes. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Holmstead and children, Barbara Nell and Edward of Witchita, Kansas, arrived here last week for a ten days visit -with relatives and friends. Carol Garrlety returned to her home In Eureka Sunday after visiting for the past two weeks with her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Beck. Fay Beck accompanied her home and spent the day at the Garriety home. Alva Wing and Hugh Otterson have been investigating for the past few weeks the building of a minature golf course. They are busy at the present. working on it and expect in a week or ton dav to have it ready for use. It is being built on the vacant lot just east of Alva Wing's residence. P. C.I.
