"Mr. Hutchlngs is well known throughout this community and ha many friends and acquaintances who .are extending countless wishes for future happiness and success. ;" For the past four or five years he las been employed in Park City. The bride, too, has a wide circle of friends and , associates . wishing her future happiness and showering con gratulations upon her. They will make their home in this city for the present. Engagement Announced Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stoker announce an-nounce the engagement and forthcoming forth-coming marriage of their son, Roger, and Miss Ilene Makin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Makin of Salt Lake City, formerly of this city. The marriage will be solemnized next Wednesday, June 25, in the Salt Lake temple. Mr. Stoker is one of Lehi's popular young men. He is a graduate of the local high school and during his Benlor year was president of the high school student body. He has taken an active part in the various social and church activities throughout this community. Through' these avenues he has won a wide circle of friends who are extending their wishes for future happiness. For the past two years he has been employed in Salt Lake City. Miss Makin, likewise, Is well known in this community, having attended the local high school and taken an active part in church and social activities, ac-tivities, which she Is prominent In. A. DeMarr, Dudley, Vernal poultry man, was eiepted the first president of the new'.orgasization. B. M. Men denhall of Springville, was chosen vice-president, and K. Jensen of Man- ti, was named secretary-treasurer, They will serve in the respective capacities mentioned during the com ing year. It was decided at the jmeetmg that the officers named would also act as a board of directors to assist in the transaction of the association's bust ness. Delegates were in attendance at the meeting from all sections of the state. They agreed in a formal resolution that the Utah Poultry Pro ducers' Cooperative Association should continue as the marketing agency for the Utah "holiday birds", working in cooperation with the new association and its executives. Organization of , a state-wide tur- key association with its large initial membership is expected to greatly assist in the development of the local industry.
