Galsford, Jr., Mrs. C T. Jones of American Fork, Mrs. J. W. Halliday of Pleasant Grove and Mrs. J. H. Coons of Salt Lake, were special guests. '-. o SECOND WARD SCOUT TROUPS SHOWING NEW INTEREST The scout movement in the Lehi Second ward is showing unusual interest in-terest under the new officers. Thursday Thurs-day the group, under the direction of Scoutmaster E. B. Sorenson, Assistant Assist-ant Scoutmaster George Strausberg and G. S. Peterson, chairman of the troup committee, made a hike to Klrkham's farm. Eighteen scouts registered. Games, music and a "weenie" roast were enjoyed. The next meeting will be held Thursday on the Wines Park. Another eighteen scouts are expected to register al this gathering. All boys between the age of 12 and 17 should get into the educational scout work. - i ii i o . WEBB-JENSE MARRIAGE " Announcement is made by Mr. and Mrs. B. G. McKinney is in the local hospital suffering with cuts and brusies on the face and body, which she sustained Monday evening when she fell out of the automobile in which she was riding. The door was open and when the car made a quickj turn Mrs. McKinney was thrown to the ground. Mrs. Howard Matthews of Pleasant Grove, had her appendix removed Thursday. v illiam Bird was removed to his home in Pleasant Grove Friday after taking treatment in the local hospital for a few days. Mrs. William Beveridge underwent an appendicitis operation Monday. At present she is getting along nicely. Allen Chipman had his tonsils moved Monday at the hospital. Harth Clark of Pleasant Grove, is i in the local hospital suffering with 'a badly hurt back, sustained when he fell off a wagon. Mrs. W. A. Bushman had her tonsils removed "Monday.
