Allen of Salt Lake, were present at a surprise party In Salt Lake Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Evans Gilchrist, Gil-christ, the occasion being Mr. Gil-christs' Gil-christs' birthday anniversary. The Fourth ward Gleaner Girls entertained en-tertained the "M" Men at a cleverly arranged party Tuesday evening in the ward charpel following the regular Mutual meeting. Games were the chief diversion of the evening, and dainty refreshments were served. The ward bishopric and the officers and teachera of the M. I. A. were special guests at the affair. Saturday afternoon the Trailbuild-ers Trailbuild-ers of the First ward Primary entertained enter-tained at a party at the Sydney Gilchrist Gil-christ home in honor of Mrs. Hannah Peterson Jones, Mrs. John Roberts and Mrs. Ellen Jones, who are still living in Lehi, and were officers of the Primary when it was first organized organ-ized in 1898. These sisters gave an account of, the work done When the organization was first started, and Mrs. Elgiva Thurman who was also a gjuesst related several Pioneer day experiences.
