A social afternoon of the Athenian Club, was enjoyed by the members Wenesday afternoon at the home of Mrs, E. L. Chipman, as it was one of their regular open meetings. Progressive Pro-gressive games formed the afternoon's entertainment followed by the serving of a dainty luncheon. The hostesses hostess-es for the social were Mrs. E. L. Chipman, Mrs. H. D. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Davis of Provo, are the proud parents of a baby boy born Sunday, March 11, at Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Davis are former Lehi residents and are very well known here. Elder, John Smith arrived home Sat urday from the Northwestern States where he has been laboring as an L. D. S. missionary for the past three months. Elder Smith's labors were in Washington practically the entire time that he was there. Mr, and Mrs. John Brown, Mrs Leott Taylor and Mrs. I. L. Last reports were that she was getting along as well as could 9e expected. Miss Peck who has been doing missionary work there. Is well known in this city. The Fourth ward Relief Society Is giving their annual party tonight (Thursday) in the ward meeting house. Mrs. Louis Christensen general gen-eral chairman announces the even ing's entertainment will consist of a splendid program, dancing, and refreshments re-freshments will be served. A cordial invitation Is extended to all the married people of the ward. Mr. and Mrs. John Bradshaw returned re-turned home last week after an extended ex-tended visit In Los Angeles and other California points.
