Mr. and Mrs. J. c. Wanlass motored motor-ed to Salt Lake Tuesday to attend the play "Ben Hur" at the Pantages theatre. Mr. and Mrs. U. A. Jones returned to their home In Cedar City Monday after a week's visit here with rela tives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Roberts, Mrs. Fred Peterson with Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Peet, of Amriacn Fork; motor ed to Bingham Sunday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wayne. Mrs. Reuben Davis left Saturday for Blackfoot, Idaho, to visit with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas. She returned home Monday evening. Mrs. J. H. GloverTMrs. B. G. Webb, Mrs. A. F. Webb and Mrs Arthur Glover motored to Salt Lake Monday and spent the day with Mrs Mary Ann Webb, it being her birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Lott entertained Saturday evening at their home in compliment of their son, Stanley, who is leaving In the near future on a mis sion to Germany. Games were the main diversion of the evening followed follow-ed by the serving of a delicious lunch. The guests numbered thirty. The Sunshine Committee of the Third ward under ,the direction of Mrs. A. E. Manning, entertained Wed nesday afternoon at a unique party in the Third ward chapel. Five of the oldest residents of each ward were the invited guests. A one act play and several other comic numers were main features of the afternoon and a delicious lap lunch was served. Misses Ella Clark, ot Provo, Rhoda Clark, who Is teaching school in Alpine, and Leola Chrlstensen of Levan, were visiting here over the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. James Clark. The teachers of the First ward Religion Classes entertained the children at a delightful hallowe'en party Tuesday afternoon. Games and refreshments were enjoyed by the children. Miss Martha Street entertained twenty friends at a party Tuesday evening In honor of her twelfth birth day anniversary. The little guests came dressed in hallowe'en costumes and enjoyed playing games after which they were served with dainty refreshments. Miss Dorothy Webb entertained Misses Maxine Austin, Sally Cutler, Margaret Peterson, Oleve Klttinger, Beth Fox, Nelda Davis, Huitan and Moreho Allred, Ruby Christensen, Verland Fowler and Yvonne Dennis, at a prettily arranged hallowe'en party Wednesday evening. The rooms were gay with hallowe'en decorations and games and dainty refreshments were enjoyed by the guests. They are also enjoying a two weeks visit with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D. Ray Kleinman. Mr. and Mrs. Elias M. Jones returned re-turned home last week from South Dakota, where 'Mr. Jones has been employed for the past ten months with the Utah-Idaho Sugar Company. Mrs. Jones has spent the past four months there. Mrs. Grant Butter and baby, of Salt Lake, were visiting here over the week-end with Mrs. I. R. Peck and Mrs. John Peck. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Logsdon and two children and Miss LuPriel Crabb, of Salt Lake, were visiting here Sunday Sun-day at the home of Mrs. Ann C. Fyffe. ' Mrs. J. W. Goodman spent Tuesday visiting In Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. George Beck are moving this week from their home In the Third ward to the S. D. Broad-bent Broad-bent home in the First ward.
