' Going Into the last canto, the Miners unleased their desperate drive. Harry DeYounghe bagged a long toss and Perkins Per-kins tossed In one from the side to make the count 20 to 14. DeYounghe added another bucket, and the Miners were within four points of their rivals. Lee Wolf ley tossed In a short shot to send the count to 22 to 16, but the Miners came back and tallied a basket and two foul pitches with a minute to go. Green's side shot brought the tussle to an end. Precious Things Precious stones are not weighed by the pound, nor precious utterances utter-ances judged by their length. tv,o TTt.flh State Public Service Com mission, decided March 12th, the application appli-cation of Howard Hout, doing business as the Bee Hive Stages, to handle express ex-press and light freight upon his passenger passen-ger buses. - This hearing was held in the City Hall in Park City, December 14, 1937, and the testimony given by the Park City merchants and shippers ' showed that this service was needed as a whole to the shipping public of Park City. Mr. Walter K. Granger, commissioner, heard the case. Under the new certificate the Bee Hive Stages can haul express and light freight without limitation, as long as it can be handled on the passenger bus. In the past the Bee Hive Stages have only been able to carry emergency express, ex-press, but now will be able to carry packages and express without the emergency emer-gency limitation. During the past ten years this case has been heard on four different occasions, occa-sions, and each time the buses were granted an additional amount of emergency emer-gency express, but the needs of the Park City merchants insisted that this service be increased so that they can now have two services daily, with door delivery on Main street and Park Avenue, north of Kimball's Garage. The school was officially opened by W. E. Holler, Chevrolet general sales manager, on March 1st. Mr. Holler issued is-sued a welcome to the dealers' sons and told them their course would give them a rare opportunity to learn the inner workings of the automobile business.
